creative water droplet photography for beginners in this video on creative macro photography I will show you how I take my pictures and create these wonderful water droplet shots. this is a great project to have a go on when the weather is keeping you in the house. using things you can find from around your house I am sure you can have lots of fun to keep you busy.
this is a friendly beginner's guide to macro photography so don't feel afraid to click on the video and watch or ask me any questions you have. I am a friendly person who just loves to help people to have a go at photography no matter what your ability is.
no matter what camera you have whether it is canon, Nikon, mobile phone you can still have a go.

Loved it. Another amazing video again Lee. I follow several photographers on youtube and so many times I think, "there is no way I can do that or there is no way I can afford that kind of equipment." When I watch your videos I can always say "I can do that and I have all that stuff in my house already." Your primary school report cards must have said "This kid has the most creative mind that I have ever taught."

Mr. Hall, What a great way to spend time in the Studio on a crappy weather day. I spend most of my afternoon today shooting this type of set up with the glue stick and an LED light. The set up cost me $8. Thanks for sharing this cool water droplets idea👍👍

Tried this one out today Lee came out fantastic I think, I'm 80 years old cameras too heavy now, I bought a cheap on extension tubes and I still get to play around in the house and your videos are keeping me company . Great video thanks Lee. On my rotating light I took it apart painted the white led light black and cut a coffee filter to diffuse the other lights. This works nicely

Wow I never thought about doing that my friend I put some blue tak over the white light on my one. But I never thought about painting it lol. Really glad you enjoyed it this was something I have been messing around with for a couple of months while I had a break. These rotating lights are fantastic for the job. So I have just gotten into macro photography. I bought some extension tubes and use them on my 50mm lens. I found your tutorials and absolutely love how easy and creative they are! I had all of these things around the house, glue stick, backgrounds and then I used a mason jar. Again, I had so much fun photographing water droplets on glue stick webs! Spent hours enjoying my God given talent! And I got some amazing shots! This helps me when I am depressed, getting into something I love to do! You have made photographing simple things so enjoyable for me! Thank you so much! Also bought your presets and can't wait to use them! Hope everything is well for you and your wife!

Great video Lee. The photos are incredible, but what I truly appreciate from your video is how you described the creative and 'troubleshooting' process you went through starting with the fishing line and tape, then glue, and the brilliant idea to just use glue as the medium for the water drops, or putting milk in the bottom of the container to act as a diffuser instead of a kitchen towel. I love that you described that process. To me, this shows your true creativity. Brilliant stuff, keep up the great work.

Lee, this video is amazing & so helpful for me as a beginner photographer with limited budget for equipment. I think the only expensive item i need to get is a tube extender for my camera & then everything else will be readily available at minimal cost. Thank you, Lee. You have inspired me to give your methods a go. I bought one of those color changing lights and tried your great idea of using melted glue sticks stretched across a jar. I tried to get water droplets to stick to the glue, but most of the water fell off the glue. I tried and was successful with the misting technique. The images I got are amazing. Thanks again!

I have been waiting for this video. The Instagram photos were amazing and I was hoping you would share with us how to achieve this look. I would have never thought of the glue stick! Can’t wait to try this. 🙂

Hi ju thank you ever so much for your kind comments. I always seam to find different things to try out i have been looking for something like this for a long time and when I noticed how the glue sticks was making this line I was amazed
