Speaking on hiring someone smarter and faster, I’ve always wanted to start RU-vid but I’m not that computer savvy and it’s kept me from starting because I didn’t think I could make videos like I wanted, but when I started dating my bf his is a full time RU-vidr and he encouraged me to go for it and he helps me so much with my editing and I help him with my creativity to his intros and thumbnails. So not always hiring just having a support system to help. Love your videos😊

I absolutely love your message about not giving up. It's not coming from a place of what we usually hear that has this condescending tone 'oh you just don't want to put in the work'. I am 3 months in and have learned so much and still so so so much more to go. I've researched my butt off to give myself the best head start possible, but getting comfortable with putting it into practice is a whole 'nother story. Especially as a big introvert. In the end I believe putting my art/comic on social media will help me grow as a person, while not throwing me too heavily out of my comfort zone. Refreshing video, thank you ♥

Instant gratification wise, I think back to moments in primary/elementary school that grounded me. The Butterfly Project is one big example. Idk if students did it in the UK but it’s an American staple of a pop-up butterfly habitat. You get caterpillars 🐛 and watch them gradually grow, cocoon, and become butterflies. We did the same with baby chicks. And whenever I think back to that gradual gratification, it brings me clarity when building my platforms. Even in areas of my life where I need to grow. The appreciation builds as well, and the content becomes more meaningful❤

First off. I love the black nails and yout makeup is soo beautiful. Secondly I have a youtube channel now. Your videos inspired me to start one at the start of the year. I finally hit 1000 subscribers. And you have inspired me to start a tik tok as well. I would look like a drunk elderly lady dancing at a wedding if I did those dancing and pointing tik tok videos . So now I just need to find a form of videos that feels fun and authentic .

It's so important to stay true to ourselves and not get caught up in trends. It can be easy to fall into those traps, but ultimately it's better to create content that we enjoy and that resonates with our audience. Great video!

Always LOVE your content!!!! You definitely must have taught way more than 100 creators about systems!!! I'm setting up a system from the start, which is why setting up my RU-vid channel is a little delayed. I also stayed off IG for 2 weeks to have the time to create content in advance. Was so worth it. ❤ I am wondering: could you please make a whole video about outsourcing and hiring someone? I've hired folks off Fiverr before but always ended up going back to doing it on my own because the quality is just better and I know what I am looking for. It seems to take way more time to actually find someone than to just doing it yourself, especially in the starting phase. ❤❤❤

18:09 This was nothing short of amazing. I have an online course that I am now marketing after being on autopilot with an influencer as an affiliate. The tip about not doing reels that don’t feel natural or organic to who you are is EXACTLY what I needed to hear. I’m changing that today. Also, I must embarrassingly admit I’m the day of creating and uploading content girl. It’s beyond stressful and I know it takes more time as well in the long run.

you've made me feel better about not giving up.. I'm 14 month in on being monetarised now.. and the last two months the £££ has dropped.. is that December (world cup football, Xmas?) but even Jan is still slow with the ££ per day. I'm doing two vids a week.. have vids scheduled... till now into February. Viewing hours have dropped by 5k from what they were in Oct last year. Watch time is down slightly too, but on the whole the YT Studio has a green arrow against these numbers saying they are up! Subs are going in each day though. I did wonder if it's a con with RU-vid to get you in.. then drop you. Maybe I don't understand it enough yet ;) Do I now need TubeBuddy lol

Hey Rosie, I hired a video editor 5ish months into my journey and it was the best decision I ever made! Whether you need to prioritise hiring will depend on how many channels you're on, if you work full time, have a family/ other priorities etc. If you feel like your dropping the ball on some tasks, then it's probably time to hire!
