Creator of Another World - Useful Tips

『Creator of Another World』 is a roguelike RPG with a high degree of freedom.
It also has almost no information available on how to play online. At least, not in English. Here's some helpful tips and tricks, some of which are for beginners, and some are a bit more advanced. Nothing too crazy, but it should help you if you're struggling to understand the game's mechanics.

Thank you for watching! There have been some updates after I published this video. The amount of experience you gain from smithing now scales based on the number of materials you use. So that part of the video is now slightly incorrect. If other changes are made, please post them down below for others to see!

6:55 from my experience I think, that meals cooked by a party member count for cooks teaching you the cooking skill.

@@marvinehre9770 I remember trying back when the game first came out but I also may have eaten the dishes my party members made, so I can't actually claim that I tried this 100%.

@@epsilonchannel502 I did it in 1.5 and further versions, as I got the game shortly before 1.5 dropped. As Im 53 hours in and lv 27, as I took it slow, I dont quite remember how I got the skill, as it was around the 5-10 hour mark I think.

Hey man; how do you unlock the Smithing skill from a blacksmith; they say they want "top-quality equipment" but whenever i show them gear, they dont give it to me. I have the equipment in my inventory as you would with any other quest item. Exceptional was the highest quality i could find up until now.

If you go to a Scholar Town, there will be a professor who you can buy skills from with pyroxene. The skills they can teach you change every day or so. That's how I learned most of my skills. I think you can also use a party member with the blacksmithing skill to produce a "Best" quality equipment, but I didn't do that myself, so I'm not 100% on that.

@@epsilonchannel502 thanks mate. I opted for that solution in the end too. Wish learning abilities was a little more intuitive if you don’t wanna spend all your pyroxenes. Right now it kinda feels like… „oh, you wanna go to medschool? Perform a brain surgery first, then you can study how to perform a brain surgery“

@@epsilonchannel502 Okay, so, I figured it out. There is an additional quality, that is literally called - you can NOT gain this quality from regular dungeons, it seems. Ruins from Maps CAN drop those, however, very rarely at the endboss. An easier way to obtain them is to craft a weapon using Tier 9 Ore. If you are unable to do that, Piroxenes are your only way.

@@VeryProfessionalGamer Wow lol that seems like a lot of unnecessary work. Yeah, the Pyroxenes are just so much easier to use than anything.

joining the expedition solo and conquer all the dungeon is worth it you can level up fast if you do solo

Solo is always the quickest way to level up if you can do it. But stronger equipment through blacksmithing will help you the most to be strong.

idk about you but my dungeons are all 12 levels above me , I can't do anything solo

@darkmiku2483 If you can, maybe smith some better weapons and armor. I also noticed that after a few patches, I was also getting more higher level quests and dungeons, so just try to complete them with as few party members as possible.

@@yukitenzan9229 In the Place of Beginnings, you can use your fame to place several buildings. One is called the Job Pavilion. Buying it will place it randomly in your world. You can go there and change your job. There's also a hidden dungeon if you talk to the statue in the Pavilion that, upon completion, unlocks a new class.

@@yukitenzan9229 I'm only this strong in video because I reincarnated my character into a new file. That said, I prefer the Light-Dark Mage.
