1:42 This is an intermediate level pose, if anyone was wondering. And a little tip, if you are struggling to get the silk onto your leg flex your feet and use your heel to get it up onto your ankle 💕
This is my absolute favorite silks pose!! I love doing it, thank you for showing a way to get into the splits from there. I always let myself drop to the floor after it lol.
i honestly don't even know why I'm watching this. like, the video was an amazing explanation, but I already know how to do this? what am I doing with my life?
Hi Jill! It’s Caylee, I just wanna say that this video has helped me so much with learning this move, and that I just practiced this move and I was successful! Thank you so much Jill. Hope you are doing well. ❤️
I’ve been learning this but I have such a mental block ! I keep falling into an ankle hang because I don’t bend my knees in ! I’ve a practice session tomorrow. Hopefully I get it
the first time i tried it i fell on my head! slipped right out of my wraps because i didnt keep my legs open enough! my safety matt saved me 😂 but I managed to do it with bent knees!
I'm still trying to get the first version right but the fabrics doesn't seem to slide up to my knees for some reason. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong because it worked out once or twice but now I can't seem to get it right anymore.
Thank you so much for the tutorial! It was really helpful. I've tried this with bent legs but for some reason, the fabric sometimes doesn't slide down my thighs when my legs go up and over and then I end up in a weird position with the fabric cutting into my upper thighs. I can't really tell what I'm doing wrong because sometimes it works out pretty well and the fabric slides down enough but then other times, it doesn't. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?
i struggle so much pulling myself up and holding myself with just my arms bc ive only been doing silk for a few days, but i am progressing fast and im already doing drops!
Please be safe! Make sure to work on your technique and condition your strengths and climbs. It’s more important to be able to hold yourself up and have good technique than working on drops only after having silk training for a few days.Sorry if this comes off as rude but please be safe. Good luck :)
OscarsFunVids I am being very safe, i can hold myself up for a few minutes enough to get into a resting position or something if im in the air, and i always have someone with me, and i am working ovr a soft but supportive mat :)
