Great tutorial, particularly the eyes. I am always amused when Americans prefix every verb with "go ahead and...". It reminds me of the boss in Office Space :D
Hi Jaysen, Thank you so much for these tutorials, I'm struggling to get a job right now in the industry as an illustrator and i'm only understanding now that it's because my work is a completely different style. I understand now what I need to do. I've been watching your videos and my goodness, it's bringing my confidence back. These videos are really well done and super super helpful, it doesn't seem as difficult as I originally thought. I cannot thank you enough, i'm looking forward to registering to your online course soon! Take care.
Thank you! I followed your tutorial and made my very own turtle! It has been a while since I have used photoshop and needed to freshen up my skills. It is adorable. Thanks so much!!
Yo are really great teacher. I enjoyed thoroughly. I am making children story books and was looking for the character or illustrations maker , i found here.
Inspirational. I'm no artist, but will certainly be a lot better for watching this tutorial. I don't have your memory so will have to name the layers as I create them. Thank you.
Why not make this in Illustrator? That would make it more easy to scale. Just trying to understand when you choose one over the other. Does using the warp tool make a bigger memory file since it has to compute that, versus just painting in the shape??
I know you are pretty much pro with Photoshop Jaysen but something I do to find layers when I have a lot that I forgot to name is 'alt+right click' to quick select that layer
cool turtle bug but dude you say "I'm gonna go ahead" and "go ahead" way too much. No that it matters but I just thought i'd go ahead and let you know. Go ahead and keep making your tutorials and I'm gonna go ahead and watch another one. I might go ahead and cut up some watermelon for a snack. I'm gonna go ahead and stop typing now.
