THANK YOU ❤ for your wonderful videos..I passed my CNA in Los Angeles California on 3-23-23... I looked at your videos into the very last moment I left to go take the test..GOD BLESS YOU 💞
Great job! I am so happy for you, Alma. Stay safe in Cali. I lived there for 22 years. I know the residents are not used to the sudden bad weather. Congratulations again.
I’ll be recommending this fine lady’s videos to other students. I agree with others that her channel has several features of instruction and demonstration that give it an edge over other playlists, when the goal is to pass the credentia test as straightforwardly as possible.
I’m from Mississippi,I go take my skill test on 5/4/24 watching your videos really has given me more then enough confidence to know that I will pass my test…so excited will let you know the results 😊
I studied & practiced for 3 weeks. I didn't take a bath, barely ate, didn't comb my hair & didn't get but 3 hours of sleep a night just to fail. My mental & physical health has declined. I did passed this skill, but failed the ROM for knee & ankle in Georgia. I'm never going through this stress again. Thank you for your help 🙏🏾 I'm 4th generation caregiver, but I guess the buck stops here. 😭I'm going to switch fields bc the universe has spoken: I'm 50 and too old to do this work. Good luck to all the deserving caregivers.💚💚💚
🩺🙏🏼hello from California!🙋🏻♀️her videos are best, I’ve watches o many hers are, well explained ands she reads credentia, she goes step by step ,I shared them with my classmates and they love them too. Thankyou!
I don’t have any more words to describe how much this video helped to pass my PA state Exam just by 1st try. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to helping our nursing community. Be blessed and stay healthy and safe
@@SweetPPeaches Hello, It does NOT matter if the bath blanket is placed at the foot (knees to toes) or over the upper body (neck to pelvic area). The state wants all of the body covered EXCEPT the area where the student is working. That area will be from the pelvis to the knees for visibility. I hope this helps.
Hey Dr. Lee, just wanted to say thank you so much for your videos! I passed my skill exam yesterday 1/24/24 in NC, all thanks to you. Your videos made it super easy and exciting. Blessings ! 🎉
Hello Lucy, a barrier is not required for Credentia skills. Prometric has a different set of skills. Please visit my Prometric channel for their guidelines. I don't want people to get confused.
Hello, Step 10 for this skill let the candidate know a towel or wash cloth is Okay to use. 10 Dries genital area moving from front to back with dry cloth towel/washcloth
Hello, when taking the state exam with Credentia the state only requires one stroke each for washing, rinsing, and drying between the labia in the front. For the buttocks, there are three areas to wash. (2 buttock cheeks, and the crack) Therefore, you have to wash each area, rinse, and dry all three areas.
Hello, Credentia does not require the student to change gloves before cleaning the buttocks. The only time you need to change the water is if the water gets soapy or cold.
Hello Maria, Yes, it will be an error if you don't use a covering on the patient with peri care. Remember, the patient has a RIGHT to Privacy. Look at step 6 of this skill. The state tells the candidate to expose ONLY THE AREA BETWEEN HIPS AND KNEES. Therefore, the top of the patient MUST be covered, and the lower legs. This is a requirement for this skill. Protect the patient's right to privacy.
@Credentia CNA Skills thank you for clarifying 💜 I've been watching your videos to help prep...they're very helpful. Thank you for posting your content and for replying💜🫶🏽
Hello, Credentia requires the candidate to raise the side rail on the side to where the patient will be turned to. see below: SKILL 17 - POSITIONS ON SIDE 1 Explains procedure, speaking clearly, slowly, and directly, maintaining face-to-face contact whenever possible 2 Privacy is provided with a curtain, screen, or door 3 Before turning, lowers head of bed 4 Raises side rail on side to which body will be turned
