I think Rocky and Drago staring each other down was the best part of the trailer.

I feel like the purpose of the stare down between Rocky and Drago was too show the emotion after their clash and plus they haven’t seen each other at all since then. So it’ll be interesting how it plays out and how the feud transfers over into the current battle

How you not love the stare down between Rocky and Drago... Its Michael B's movie... But, ya gotta love that stare down!!!!!!

You're forgetting this is Rocky's universe lool, this story line and franchise wouldn't exist without Sylvester so I'm cool with him staying in the franchise. Plus him and Michael got a dope father and son type bond. Mad reaction tho my guys 👌

I love that this trailer pulled me in with the internal turmoil that Adonis portrays throughout the trailer. Punching the floor of the ring, screaming into the punching bag - it's all relative to what is going on inside him as he catapults towards what I'm sure he considers the fight of his life. And that's what you've got to do if you want me to spend my money on going to see a movie nowadays. Make me FEEL something for the characters. I think that the editor for the trailer did a brilliant job in piecing it together to ensure that this wasn't just seen as a just another testosterone filled (no offense to the gents), bloody fists and bruised body movie. Michael B Jordan is perfect in this role. I hope that there is a Creed III and that it will be more of a standalone movie and not so intertwined with Rocky. No offense to Sly, love him so much, but he IS like, 108 or something....and I feel like if this movie is as awesome as it has the potential to be, that Michael B Jordan will be able to carry this franchise on his own. Awesome commentary, guys!! ♥

i usually see eye-to-eye with joe *(no relation)* on movies but i gotta disagree with mans on his point about the *son of drago* fight being too much of a rocky thing - adonis' character up to this point, has always fought with a *huge chip* on his shoulder about being the *son of a LEGEND* who last time he was *K.O'd* in the ring meant death...adonis is *every bit* his father's son so his motivations in the ring aint about rocky at all, but Apollo fighting drago jr. is a good way to symbolize adonis creed doing sumthin even *the great Apollo Creed* couldn't accomplish therefore allowing him to finally step out of his dad's shadow into a possible *trilogy situation* where the next storyline has no ties to rocky *OR Apollo,* but solely focused on michael b. jordan's adonis creed character creating his own *LEGEND...* just my ✌ cent LIKE# 198

I don’t think there is a way get past Drago in this story arc for Adonis. He made international news on the last big fight. In boxing, there is always someone looking to make their name at expense of a well known fighter. To Raven point, when your coach thinks it’s a bad idea, your woman is in your head, your mother is in your head, and he’s got a new born child who is part of your legacy. And I expect to hear the word legacy a lot in this film. He bears the creed name so he has to find his way through the creed baggage. Drogo is top of that list. Anyone who sees this will need to take a towel. There will so much stress.

i think that little scene where they had the eye examination was meant for the audience to think creed was the one down but it could also be viktor drago on the floor

He will fight Drago twice. You see in one clip he has the black gloves and another clip (last clip) when he swings on Drago they are red. He will lose the first fight.

Joe's point with Rocky is almost the same as Dante in DMC5. What needs to happen is a conclusion of their relationship so if there's a 3, it's all on Jordan.

I disagree with his thoughts about ivan being the antagonist... ivan needed this, he lost everything after rocky 4, so he trained his son to fight whoever rocky had passed the torch to.

I think there's gonna be 3 fights.....the 1st will be against Danny Wheeler in the beginning to get the belt then there will be a 2nd fight against Drago which he will lose and the 3rd fight be the rematch at the end.

Take another look at that trailer, Joe. That Rocky/Drago stare down is a swerve. Rocky wouldn't wear that to the ring. As a matter of fact, Rocky is wearing the same clothes in all the dim lit scenes like he's a ghost or something.

I don't know what it is but the reaction of Black people to trailers especially ones like Creed that have deep history brings me to fucking tears every time laughing. They amps up my emotion for this movie by 1000.

I agree completely about that last portion of the trailer. It felt unnecessary. I mean, this trailer still shakes me every time I watch it (which I've done a lot).

You must remember this is an extension of Rocky, so you must have these steps in order to progress to the next phase.

I think there will be 2 fights between these 2 characters, poster shows all , creed junior wearing dads colors , in the trailer he is wearing black shorts

There's going to be more than one fight in this movie I'm not sure which one is the last one but in some scenes he's wearing the red white and blue shorts and then in the last scene of this trailer he's wearing blue and black shorts that say Creed so he going to fight at least two or three times

You can't expect to have this movie and not have any interaction between Rocky and Ivan, to not add their past as well as how they view each other now in light of a match between Adonis and Viktor would be patently absurd.

This is Rocky 8. Regardless of the title. Michael b. might be able to sell the movie but Stallone OWNS the Rocky universe.
