The end showed they were fighting more than just each other, from them being locked up to them being abused in the group home. This is the story of Creed, his story is not Rocky's. People will enjoy it more when they separate the two. Even in Creed 2 Rocky sat down and told Adonis "It's your time"

The bars I believe represented both men being "prisoners of their minds," locked up in their pasts, that they both suffered in the group homes. Not sure if you're aware but a lot of the fight scenes were directed from Michael B. Jordan's love of anime. I love Rocky in the first two Creeds, but only missed him when Mary Ann died, would've like to see him call Adonis about that. Love the film, thanks for the review.

10/10 The Whole Theater Are Roaring For Creed III, As This Franchise Just Keep Getting Better And Better, Creed III Is Incredible! The whole theater are roaring for Creed III, as this franchise just keep getting better and better, Michael B. Jordan in his very impressive directorial debut takes Creed III on another level, the fights that you can feel to your whole body, with the incredible vibrating sound, amazing shot and color, both Jordan and Thompson performance at their best, and Jonathan Majors acting that can't get any wrong, sure there is a missing feeling of Sylvester Stallone abscent here, but at least there is still a positive thing about that case, which is makes the film a pure real Creed movie, makes the story works more, and still without leaving some things from who's still franchise is this or where it comes from, the final fight scene was top-notch, and the fight also ended surprisingly emotional and actually make me choked up, Creed III is definitely a theater must watch because of not only the quality, but the sound was incredibly jarring, story was good, opponent was convincing, everything was exciting and just a great time at the movies, overall Creed III was incredible!, it's one of the best films of the year, the second best after the 2006 Rocky Balboa in the whole Rocky franchise, the best in Creed trilogy for me.

Yeah this movie didn’t need Rocky but it needed some better writing at some points but overall solid as hell. At had Creed 2 over this one but I have to put this one over 2 now because of the brotherhood aspect

I agree with the Wife. It was more of a personal movie. Him evolving and being more mature and family man. I thought it was a great movie not having Rocky in it. Thats alot of pressure

Michael B. Jordan is brilliant in this directing debut and once again kicked butt especially from an old friend from the past.

I really loved it, I feel Michael B. Jordan did a wonderful job directing for his first time out. The Rocky music at the end was an nod to Rocand Sly in a way. Sly was given a part in the movie but he wanted a bigger part, and more in put on the story. Sylvester is still a producer on this film.

When dame said it wasn't on Adonis he didn't mean he knew he did wrong by pulling a gun out when adonis was getting attacked because he was protecting his lil brother which he saw adonis as and adonis saw dame as his big brother. And like adonis said to his dad's wife dame treated him more like his family/brother more than Apollo and his wife's kids ever did

Rocky could have did a cameo at the end at the fight or showed him watching it on tv

Dame also said he had some years added on meaning he did something while in prison

The only time I think that Rocky should've come in was to talk to Adonis after Mary Ann passed away. Just for a scene to give his condolences, but that would've been it. I also think there was a missed opportunity with not showing the relationship with Adonis and Apollo and Mary Ann's kids. They're briefly mentioned when Adonis said that they didn't treat him well, and I thought that might've come up again during or after the funeral. But this was a good film and a pretty good job for Michael B. Jordan's directing debut. There is a part of me that wonders what this movie would've been like had he had a couple of other movies under his belt before doing this one.

As far as rocky is concerned, Stallone said he didn’t want to be in the movie!

Jonathan Majors play “Damian Anderson “ so well. You can literally tell that “Dame” has been in prison by all of his gestures, and the way he spoke. Very well acted by Jonathan Majors.

Rocky balboa The first one will always be the best it’s just a classic underdog boxing film, rocky 4 is the one I always watch the most it gets me the most hyped adrenaline rush, creed 1 and 2 are kinda tied for me but I prefer the first one a little more because it goes back to that classic underdog story, rocky 2 is a really good movie however the entire middle part where they’re in the hospital always felt like they didn’t have an idea to add to the plot so they just put that in to make the movie longer, rocky 3 is probably the cheesiest and it’s a good movie but I think it’s the most dated out of the entire franchise, rocky 5 the entire first and second act I always really enjoyed, I like how he goes back to his roots and trains a kid that has idolized him my problem with this film is the entire third act where tommy turns on rocky, I thought that was so dumb and to top it off the street fight was a joke too, and rocky balboa honestly it’s my least favorite for several reasons, 1 I hated the entire little Marie and her son plot line like if they wanted to just add that in for a nostalgia scene it would have been fine but the whole side plot is his relationship with them and I couldn’t get into it, 2 I didn’t like the fact that they tried to make dixon compared to rocky like he had it rough and his old trainer was fired because he got famous like the idea is great but they made dixon so unlikable in the film I couldn’t get into it, 3 I didn’t really care for the fight that much, I get they tried to make it more realistic but it doesn’t feel the same as the other films, and 4 I just felt like the entire movie was like let’s just add elements from all the films and make a film of pure nostalgia with really nothing new.

There was a bit in between the rounds where Adonis was looking over Dame and he saw him as a kid, but then it switched to Dame as a man. While when Dame looked over at Adonis all he saw was Adonis the kid, he still saw Adonis as the scared kid that ran out on him, where Adonis no longer saw Dame as his childhood friend but as the man who tricked him and used him.

I was worried about how this movie would turn out. With Stallone unhappy, no Rocky in it and reports in the industry of trouble with production. But I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! Rocky would have felt out of place in this story. And like he said at the end of Creed 2, it’s your time. I thought Michael B. Jordan did a fantastic job directing and truly made this series his own. It was VERY different than 1 or 2 but with continuing story and familiar characters. Seeing the boxers from the other movies was unexpected but really added to movie and showed how much respect Donny had earned in the industry. The girl who played his daughter was fantastic and it was heartwarming to see Creed as a real dad! His mother dying was so well done. What a heart wrenching moment! Stalone has talked about a Rocky 7 and/or being in Creed 4. The thing that keeps going through my head is “I don’t want to see Rocky die.” Perhaps the final goodbye to the character is inevitable though. It’s been fun watching you two get through the series! I really enjoyed this movie. Johnathan Majors killed it with the Damian character. I think the hate this movie gets is mostly due to ppl not embracing change and rocky not being involved. Writing could have been better, could have used like another 30 mins in the movie building the fights. I left this wanting more of Dame. But maybe that’s the point. Great movie, had classic potential, but failed short of classic.

I agree with her as far a the movie goes. the bars represented Jail for Damien and the Pillow/Bed Post represented Mary Ann for Adonis. (in my opinion)

For Creed 4, perhaps they can jump forward in time and have him coaching Amara boxing in the Special Olympics.

Adonis did owe dame because dame was his family when his dad's family didn't know who he was and saw Adonis as his brother and family unlike Apollo kids didnt do .And when your black living in America and other black people look after u , you owe them something in return
