Finally got it in the mail today-upon first spray it reminded me of bois du portugal by creed but when I smelled it from the bottle (I got that potpourri smell) even when I smelled the box I felt I had smelled this fragrance before. Acier Aluminum is a familiar scent without having smelt the actual fragrance today. I definitely get a serious antiquated 70s vibe about it. It smells like something a machismo from the 70s would wear. It’s a very dated scent it’s potency reminds me of Amouage Gold Man (vintage) with its own twist. Nonetheless I’ll be saving acier aluminum until my vintage collection gets bigger. So far Acier Aluminum is the only vintage I sought out and bought
Tom the Early Greek talked about Acier Aluminum, and because of that, I got a 30 ml decant for a good price. Glad I did. About 2 years ago, it popped back up in the flacon on the Creed site. I didn't pull the trigger quick enough though. I sprayed three times with Furyo on the same spot. No need to do that again. Potent. Getting Encrie Sport along with Open and Rivera Nights in a couple days. Same as Furyo. Had too.
I saw those decants pop up a years ago too and I was also to slow lol Furyo is definately potent stuff thats for sure 😊🤌🤌🤌 As far as encre noire sport and open & riviera nights go all three could be had for like 55 bucks lol
Nice I have never smelled a Dua fragrance but I can tell you I love Acier Aluminum... one of my favorite grey cap creeds along with Royal English Leather
I love Horizon. I've been wearing it since the late 90's. It's crazy that there's so many bottles out there still. It's been discontinued for ages..and was never reformulated. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
Hey Ramsey, I finally got my hands on a 2017 tester bottle (from Mudassir, all thanks to your suggestion ). This was one of the top 3 vintage creeds I wanted to get, and luckily he had some in stock. I've only sampled modern creations of Creed in their lineup, and was left extremely jaded. It was only after looking into vintages that I finally appreciated the house and its place in modern perfume history. The 2017 batch has a slight ambery note in the opening, with a very nice fruity dry down. It's simple in composition, yet blended incredibly well. Mine is missing a grey cap, but I'm sure I can get my hands on one of those eventually for better aesthetics. It's a shame Bernard Ellena has mostly stepped down since the 2010s.

No more wiping my screen thinking there's something to wipe off...( it was the pull cord knobs on your blinds)😆 Did you notice the Horizon bottle is Drakkar/Drakkar Noir shaped... it's a Guy Laroche! Never tried Horizon, be interested to hear you take. Furyo is calling. You're spot on about Vanilla, first came across a vanilla centric scent in 92 I was one of 3 other guys intoxicated by this vanilla scent trail in the garden of Raffles Hotel, before we realised we were following a young Singaporean lady who was wearing it. I had to ask her, it was that good. Since then Vanilla was never a problem for me- Yohji Yamamoto 1996, Jil Sander for example. Absolutely this is your channel, your way and that's what brings us here, away from all the 'noise' out there. It's a total turn off when some 'YT'S and IG's bring politics, race, blah blah blah into what is essentially a beautiful art form and retreat. There's other platforms for that. @@RamseytheRam Oh and the scent she was wearing was Volupté by Oscar de la Renta. And I'm finally going to be reunited with Drakkar( the Original ), found an outlet in Italy with decent pricing. There's so many old pharmacies in Italy and Greece that have shut shop and have old stock that hasn't hit ebay or etsy.....yet.

My feedback on your production is that the camera angle is looking down on you.. which makes you seem like an innocent and vulnerable character.. the opposite makes you look strong and dominant like a rap album cover. Just make it look at you straight on.. it feels like those old school clip on cameras you put on top of your monitor. It probably is
Thanks for the feedback... I actually that about this but figured fragrance talk doesnt need me to be a president or vince lombardi or phil jackson 😊 But i understand what u mean and I really appreciate you sharing .. do you find the angle much different from previous vidoes ?
@@RamseytheRam the main thing I noticed that was different from previous videos is there was no strong flaring from a bright light source behind you. I’m not trying to be rude at all, just sharing my experience from working as a professional videographer. It’s a small change that makes a big difference. It would look a lot better if the angle was level with you rather than looking down .. also you are very small in the frame.. in other words, the focal length is too wide or the camera is too far away. I’m not saying to fill the screen with your face but at the moment you’re tiny compared to the rest of the space. If you’re going to the effort of making and uploading the videos, might as well tweak the things that don’t cost anything and get a better result. Again, I’m only saying this to help. Appreciate your videos and once again, get on Instagram! Yes I have a daughter as well, no I’m not too old for it! 😂 no different to RU-vid communities, in fact, most of the RU-vid fragrance reviewers are on Instagram!
