We know Scott can’t hit as high of notes as he could 25 years ago when this came out but his vocals still are very good. He’s elevated his game significantly from when he was all screwed up. I hope they can continue on after this and make new music. The band sounds amazing
Agreed 100%. In his prime, he was unreal. I completely agree that he hasn't sounded this good since they toured for Weathered (the shows he wasn't messed up). :-)
There actually playing a tad lower I think to. Honestly, I think overall scott did a great job. It was just odd to me cause it seemed like stuff he shouldn't have trouble with he did, than other stuff that was way tougher he nailed.
The extra guitarist adds so much more depth to the music and sounds amazing. Mark can definitely hold his own and sound great but I think it just helps him shine even more now.
This has always been my favorite Creed song hands down. 1000% why I started listening to them. Absolutely awesome. Total stroll down memory lane. 💩 I'm getting old
Scott sounds way better than 2009, good for him for putting in the work. Hope he can maintain and improve as the touring continues. I worry that he'll blow out his voice again
Love them. I'm not very good but my dad was a good guitar player. He moved a few miles from where they make them in MD. He used to play in a band and knew some famous guys growing up in the uk. Treated himself to a beautiful (very expensive!) prs guitar a few years ago. He passed away a couple of years ago. Don't think I'll ever get rid of it.
You can get the standard Tremonti for like $900. The signature is like $4.5k but it won't sound very different in comparison to the $1k one. You can hear a huge difference between a $500 and $1k guitar, but a $1k to $5k is miniscule in sound difference and they look identical.
I have to cover this in our rock band and it's great to see I'm playing it 100% correct to what the man himself is playing. Mark is a beast to follow. Thank you for this video. 🤘🏼
His voice now, in comparison to 2009, is MILES ahead of what it used to be.. dude looks absolutely amazing and sounds great. All of the guy’s are in top form!
Well, it's official: Creed IS BACK, baby! I can't wait til September! I'm saving my voice box, just for that month! They always have been and always will be my favorite band. Period!
When I was 13-14 I wanted to be Mark Tremonti. My parents got me the guitar, let me take lessons, etc. Unfortunately I didn’t stick with it but I still love Creed and Tremonti. This one started it all.
Not an easy gig to do night after night as a Vocalist and Scott Stapp can and always will deliver the goods now better then ever. I know that when I saw him solo a few years ago at the Brooklyn Bowl in Vegas. His performance was amazing and his band also was killer. If you sing live without tracks on the main vocals it’s a challenge. Hats off to one of greats of our time Scott Stapp 🙏👍
4:21 after he says in my head, I always sing "in my head" again, as he did in that concert in 2009 (Houston-it's on RU-vid) i watched that so many times i memorized the songs the same way lol. ❤❤❤
Hope you upload saying something about the cruise travel. Mini documental, behind scenes, etc! Great job my man! You are in the CREED history for sure. We the fans really aprecciate it! 🤙🏽🔥
Just the videos😀. It was such a great time!!!!!! Was lucky to enough to meet the band out and about on the cruise. Cannot say enough about how nice they all are. There will be a Creed interview upcoming on the Power hour on AXS TV in the near future.
Really, really nice to one of my fave bands from back in the day performing live and in really top form. I just finished a seven hour drive back home to Athens from Destin and was listening to the 90s SXM station for most of the trip. Heard lots of Creed and Bush, and had assumed only a few hours back that Scott had still fallen off of the planet. The algorithm somehow figured that I needed this recommendation because I was feeling old, I guess. And to the few haters I've seen, $90 bucks is a effing value to see this band, even from the lawn. The last concert tickets I priced were Taylor Swift, out of curiosity, and those were more than 10x.
I remember not knowing who they were and a friend had an extra ticket to see them at the original Hard Rock Orlando old one way in beginning. Was blown away by the intensity especially w this song.
Does my heart good to see Creed and Fuel kicking ass again . Two questions though . Fuel Brett please ? All that’s missing is Virgos Merlot or Finger Eleven for this cruise show to be authentic 99
GREAT TO SEE THEM ALL BACK TOGETHER ON THE STAGE AGAIN HOPE IT CAN WORK AND THIS HAVE A HANDFUL OF YEARS OF A RUN EVEN IF THAT DON'T PUT OUT NEWS OR A FULL ALBUM I'LL TAKE ANYTHING WE CAN GET FROM THEIR 3 OR 4 ALBUMS WILL DO FOE ME 🎶💚🤟🏼❤️🎶
At the end of the day I hope they just get paid and have a good day. I you still listen to WJRR while living in Deltona, Florida, and listen to when this stuff started in the radio waves and it was great and fun
They sound good overall. I have been a HUGE FANATIC of Mark Tremonti since I first heard them 27 years ago and each band he’s in is even better than the prior. I used to LOVE Creed, and then 20 years ago I found Alter Bridge and it BLEW THEM AWAY!! Then in 2009 He founded “Tremonti” which as a metalhead I LOVE!! I will always LIKE Scott Stapp as a singer….him as a MAN is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY. I relate far more to Myles because we are both Atheists and therefore NOT HYPOCRITES unlike Stapp and 95% of religious people ESPECIALLY “christians”. I will always love and appreciate Creed despite my opinions on SS. Mark, Flip, and Brian are all INCREDIBLE MUSICIANS!!!!!
