Fact is , if JFK had lived his belief was that America Not get involved in Vietnam. This came from his seeing how Colonialism under the British and French damaged half the world during his youth,and close up when he served in WWII in the Pacific . Then later seeing the disgraceful evacuation of France from their colony in Vietnam in DienBien Phu in1954 , similar to Bidens Dreadful embarrassment of an evacuation from Afghanistan in2019 !
Everyone thought this was a Vietnam War song. It was actually a protest song. John Fogarty was and still is an anti gun rights activist and ironically, he never actually claimed credit for his activism. The band said this was their best song ever. I cant disagree with that.
I used to think the same thing until I had open mind and I started watching RU-vid videos about the fact that it's impossible for us to be here without a creator. Now that Creator would probably want us to know it wouldn't it? Then I saw the gentleman that mapped out the entire human genome in alphabet of a to d and TNA and I knew something was going on. I was a scientist or biologist that is and so was he with a lot damn smarter than me. And the thing is is that he was searching right when I was searching and he found his peace and has stuck with it and spoke of it and if you look at the proof man the proof that Jesus Christ existed by people that were riding history back then. You just don't want to believe if there was a Jesus Christ you wouldn't believe in him anyway I bet you! I want to there not to be a Jesus Christ so bad so I can do what I wanted to do in college and not feeling worried about it. But I saw how it changed people I mean how he changed people! Can I get down on my knees and I accepted him and red mere Christianity by CS Lewis a very intelligent gentleman I began to listen to Ravi Zacharias on RU-vid and everywhere else that I went online it's not the messenger it's the message. You can't really believe if you don't have an open mind to the facts man. And if he is real you better look for a real good rock to crawl under because you're going to either face him with Joy or with fear and trembling and it's too late by then..... I used to think I'll wait till the last moment and then I'll get on my knees and say oh I believe in you and he'll say I got to spew you out because you're lukewarm in fact you're not even lukewarm you're cold as ice and look at the life you've LED!! We are imploding from within right in front of our very eyes! We got drag queens reading children books at the library for God's sake. If that happened when I was that age somebody would have went in there and ripped them out by the roots of their hair. I'm sorry I just feel the way I do I'm 63 and I've watched this country goes straight down the drain in the last 3 years.
