and...finally, now that I've played this too, some tips: Miner mines the pink stuff Pink stuff allows makers to make.... anticreeper! Options even in the demo allow re-keybinding :D I totally made spacebar my pause key right away! I swapped Z for cancel (what the space bar used to do) and unbound zoom out, which used to be Z key, cause you mouse wheel to zoom out anyway. select multiple units by click dragging, while pressing shift Game makes me think of Noita, in that there are tons of materials, and you have to learn what they all do. I hope they don't do too much hand holding in the full release explaining how materials react
Although this is a take on tower defense, all the digging reminds me a bit of a great old game you should try sometime when it's on sale, called Cortex Command. I could swear I left a comment to this effect but I must be getting senile.
Interesting, looking up Cortex Command it reminds me of the old worms game a bit! I really liked that one. 2012 game!! Also RU-vid comments are really weird, sometimes it just seems to remove them or not post them.
@@LetsTryGG It's not always even censorship. I think they just do it to make us crazy. Cortex Command is wonky due to physics but very unpredictable, charming, and moddable. You are a brain (cortex) and you must survive and conquer territory using a growing menu of purchasable remote controlled minions, and very dangerous arsenal dropped from orbit (so step lively!)
the problem is for a game that old it has held on fiercely to its price point, which stings a bit despite being a unique and excellent game, and doesn't go on deep sale often if at all
@@MrMeepzor I noticed that, $20 is a lot to me unless I know a game is great (Slay the Spire 2 is a game I'll buy basically no matter what they charge).

I've had this on my wishlist for a long time now! Funny thing on the bonus mission, if you just leave the blockium alone, it will buy you a huge amount of time before you have to fight the mass of creeper building behind it. and you can even shoot bombs through the blockium while you're doing other things. I haven't really figured out if there's something cool you can do with the acid...makes some pretty spectacular acid fountains when it hits lava though!
@@LetsTryGG I found the series with the fourth game, I’d say just give it a try and if people like it, bam new series and if not and you do enjoy it then you’ve got something to play in your off time
