Note that with the current setup shown in the video, this build was ALMOST capable of completing Uber Cortex. It failed on the final 2 bosses. Obviously mods matter a lot and you should never expect this sort of budget to roll the Uber Bosses, but it's got some serious potential! Here's a quick PoB if you wanna have a look: poe.ninja/pob/Clk
Seems like a great idea epically with how easy levelling with icicle mines is . Probably could get a tremor rod for early maps then switch into a void battery badge setup .
Man, something else to think about. Last miner I played was astral projector pyroclast back in metamorph when everyone first started abusing tremor rod/blastchain.
Not sure why I never really thought of using creeping frost in a miner setup… that’s really cool. I have fine self cast creeping frost in the past and it was good dps, a tad slower on clear but really safe at the same time. Good balance all around… doing it as a miner gives it a cool new twist. I like it
I wish u could give a brief explanation of “why choose this skill” for example if this was reap miner I would say: reap is a physical spell which means it eliminates the need for hit and physical damage can scale the highest normally without the need of pen like ele, and it reserves life which means you can run an extra aura But when I saw this my first thought was why creeping frost, why not exsan, spark or something else?
@@jordanlobo4680 this ... that's pretty much it. Also doesn't need anything like hydrosphere abuse (since thats gone and what made eye of winter so strong) blazing salvo is not a horrible option either but creeping frost is cold which is a massive survivability boost so if the damage output is similar then creeping frost is the play for sure
Absolutely fun to see an new build. But my fav miner is is still Pyroclast with the nova ring. Is that still viable in your mind? I enjoyed that so much a few leagues ago and did my first Grandmaster with it. Would fe fun to revisit it. And Sir, you being the authority on Seismic Trap, would it be an idea to paly it with something like this: Item Class: Warstaves Rarity: Unique Cane of Kulemak Serpentine Staff -------- Warstaff Quality: +20% (augmented) Physical Damage: 67-140 (augmented) Critical Strike Chance: 6.30% -------- +3 to Level of Socketed Support Gems +15% to Quality of Socketed Support Gems 89(60-90)% increased Unveiled Modifier magnitudes 68%% chance to deal Double Damage while Focused +52 to Strength and Dexterity +606 to Accuracy Rating .. Idea being +3 so support gems means that a top empower gives +7 leves to skill gems, +3 to supp and + 15% qual to supp gems. + a serious amount of stat and acc. And 68% chance to do double damage while focused. Which is fine when you frontload all damage... ... And still, nobody would by the staff evne for 2ex. Why two cold iron points instead of this?
I see the potential but having a +2 tabby, a +2 wand, +2 amulet is ambitious, would be better to showcase a regular tabby and everything +1 to see how heavy this relies on gem levels.
its just a +2 tabby, +1 wands and +1 amulet with no other stats. a +2 tabby is literally 40-50c on day 1 so ye... I used a tabby but normally you'd spend 1 ex for a skin of the lords and call it a day
I would love it if we could get a guide for it either way. This seems really fun for league start and imho fun is way more important than rushing end game shit. Even though this looks like it could rush it fairly well anyways.
I'm thinking they'll probably nerf Saboteurs Trap part of the ascendancy so I've been looking into miners as well. I did league start Deadeye Ele Hit mines in 3.16 which was pretty fun but bad. Now i was looking at Blazing Salvo myself but Creeping Frost looks interesting as well.
Great video and looks like a great starter as well, I'll try it out If there are no buffs to my main build which I've been playing for 5 leagues now ( PC stacking BF/BB which only made it through 3.18 thanks to Sentinel mods) and if this one gets nerfed I'll just probably quit the game again - I'm so fucking tired of nonstop increased demand on items while also gutting our crafting options.
I doubt the price of the entire build that you are estamating. With the nerfs to the other meta builds, miners will be dominating the start of the league. Atziri's step alone will probably cost about an ex for the first 5 days atleast, since they also nerfed spell suppression and atziri's step will probably be a good source of it for many builds. Also, with mines dominating the meta, a +2 tabula will also be prett expensive, even if you get a +2 projectile one. This is not even mentioning the wands, the cluster jewels and the +1 amulet that you were also using.
@@princecuddle But as Atrizi's step has a higher roll than rares, this will most likely still be the case, and still be a prefered option for spell suppression on boots for sabos.
For most of ppl even 3ex at starter build is a lot :D It should be option 50c, 1ex, 3ex, 5ex, 10ex, 50 and 100ex :D I could be great to see something like this in PoB :)
PoM help me, which build will be better for weak player on PoE. your EoW inquis, or this build? im from russia and i dont understand some words in video), which build will be more tanky and have more dps on low budget?
That's the sheet dps when all your mines are down, basically your front-loaded damage, but it's not your actual sustained dps, which is why I ended up going with inquis in the next video
This looks pretty fun. I wonder if its comparable to that one freezing pulse miner i saw on poe.ninja. i may have to make a 5 letter word for detonating those mines but otherwise casual mapping by the showcase.
Do you think there's a way for deadeye to work for this archetype or does it just not provide enough defense for you to consider it? +2 proj & chain is super useful for clear without cutting too much damage through gmp support mark effect & tailwind also provide a lot of damage & a good amount of speed dropping mark effect for gale force could be an option but I'm not sure about the inconsistency of that defense layer
