I think the Night Sisters and Thrawn story arc are part of or pawns of whatever is drawing Balyan. Thrawn and his troopers look extremely hinky. Something is up more than just ten years banishment. In my humble opinion.

I'm surprised no one talks about Baylan and Shin, when one the Great Mothers first says it "reeks of Jedi". The camera pans to Sabine but I feel as though all three as a collective could be what the Great Mothers are sensing. At this point, I don't believe Baylan has totally turned off being a Jedi.

Something I've never seen discussed that occured to me during this episode is that the addition of red accents to the "branding" of the First Order (It's the same hue) may have it's origins in the Night Sister repairs (or just their influence in general) of Thrawn's storm troopers on their return to the main story galaxy.

I wonder if they'll go slightly different with the storm troopers, and instead of being dead they will be stuck between life and death, still somewhat capable of thought, but no longer requiring the food that they are now so short of. Instead of being full zombie like the nightsisters, the process was done while they were still alive

What if Ezra is the reason Thrawn’s forces have been so depleted? A ten-year guerilla war of attrition, where Ezra keeps picking off troopers until there are few left, always dodging Thrawn’s attempts to capture him. Also, I don’t think the Eye of Sion is going to make it out of that galaxy. $0.02

Star Wars released hi res images of eps 6 characters. Ezra is wearing chain mail under his Noti robes and it looks like it’s made up of storm trooper dog tags. Baylan and Shin are his last ditch effort to end him but either way he’s getting out of there in 3 days now

Zabaraks are not native to Dathomir, they're Iridonians from Iridonia. The night brothers are a clan that migrated to Dathomir, later mixing with the witches giving them different pigments etc.

Commotion with thrawn sending squad to kill good guys. Them trying to stop thrawn from accomplishing his return, thrawn gers away. Then Baylon has another conflict start with whatever ultimate power he seeks and finds. I hope it has nothing to do with animated cartoon that things seem to tie into. i wonder if the Khujet is sealed on Peridea, the zeffo were very powerful with the force, in ways that the jedi nor sith have yet reached. It seems that either the Nightsisters followed in Khujet's footsteps travelling to his seat of power on dathomir when discovering his temple on their homeworld of peridea. Perhaps that is why their connection to the force was dark, as Khujet was responsible for the decline and fall of the Zeffo to the darkside.

I doubt they intended to wrap everything up -- they had all been hoping for a second season, before the strike...and I think it all depends on that. But I could be wrong!!
