I recently had to have my daughter and husband cremated. Both passing days apart I have always thought burying someone was just a waste of time and money. We all end up dust. Plus I can’t stand the thought of decay. I’m grieving so hard right now just 4 months 3 weeks in, and though many don’t like this video, it oddly made me feel better. It has bothered me especially with my daughter who died alone and unexpectedly and not in a state I wished to remember her in, that there was a feeling of lack of finality. No good byes except memorial service. I can sense those parents who never find their children. It’s similar but not. Her teen told me he felt she was away and not dead. Same. I have her ashes but there was no closure. I’m glad we didn’t see her yet part of me wishes maybe I had but the biggest part was grateful that’s not the memory I carry. My husband died in my arms. Closure was had and I grieve. The pain is unfathomable. Please do not diminish what is best for the family vs the person who is no longer here and no longer worried about his shell of a body. The essense of him left long ago.

Great training video... At least they didn't show what the steel rake is used for half way through the creamation... And btw in the industry they refer to a creamation as a BBQ. The mortuary I used to work for could only BBQ two bodies a day at the most. It was a small establishment but if they got busy they would turn up the gas to BBQ faster, the only problem with that was people could see the smoke rising in the air from two miles away and would complain. Some cultures do follow their family members all the way to the cremation room but I've never seen them enter it.

Well that's traumatizing. As a Funeral Director I've never seen a body cremated without a casket or a cremation box

Honestly though, if i died, i'd rather have my body cremated and have my ashes in a jar at home so people won't have to go far away just to visit my tombstone.

I worked at a cementary here in the States. We had a crematory, and this, for me, was shocking!! Here, we don't remove the body from the casket because it's against the law to resell a casket someone purchased. The casket goes in the person. The family can view their love one going in, but it's from a room through a window and only a side view, so that the family is not traumatized. To see loved ones go into the oven like that is very traumatizing!! That was crazy to me! The cry of their loved one was heartbreaking!

It is interesting how little love and respect is given when people are alive and then when they are dead people say we should respect them. It is better to respect and love each other while you are here. Thank you for posting this because I will be cremated when I am dead. Some parents are not loved and respected deeply until after they’re dead and their children realized they did not give them any time or care. The only thing you will leave behind when you are dead is your reputation and the memories of how you made people feel.

Why would someone videotape a cremation beyond me. I don't understand why someone thought this was a good idea. The lady in the background that is crying must be a family member. Her cries are haunting😢 and sad. I had to have my husband cremated when he passed away in April of 2022. So, I can imagine how she feels. The loss of my husband was so hard to take butt I made sure along with our kids that his services were nice and that we made him look like he always looked every day. But, watching the actual process of his cremation is something that I would never be able to do. Our family misses him and wants to remember him when he was with us in life. Whoever thought this situation was a good idea was wrong on so many levels. Even in death are loved ones deserve respect. My prayers go out to the family.😢❤🙏🏾

Honestly we Buddhists even a person who died and we loved him/her with all our hearts we will never cry, It's the cycle of life we are all born, become, grow old and die it's the way of life. We can love someone as much as we do but we cannot attach ourselves to that person coz if we do we will only torture ourselves emotionally if he or she dies. Enjoy the moments we have with our loved once but when the time comes let them go, Don't cry just be hppy for them whatever suffering they had in their life they're finally free until the next reincarnation. We're all energy and energy never dies just remember that he will always be with as his atoms are all around you the body we have is temporary eventually it withers and dies. Gautama Buddha, the world is affected by suffering, death, and decay. Therefore, the wise do not mourn, knowing the terms of the world. Nobody can get peace of mind by weeping or mourning. Rather his pain will increase and his body will suffer.

I believe once you’re dead, your soul has departed from your body so the body is like an empty shell but this was unsettling. It’s hard enough to go through the burial service, seeing your loved one in a casket but to watch them shoved into the fire….I wouldn’t want to witness that. I would not want my last memory of a loved one to be witnessing their body burned. 😢

This cremation was made in the Philippines. For those who don't know the language of tiyo-tito. It means uncle in english, tiyo has another meaning too, it means pipe. I think Pipe Rinno or Uncle Rinno.

This leaves more doubts than answers, how did they allow a cremation to be recorded? What was the point of recording the man in those conditions? Why they uploaded the video to be seen by millions of strangers? Why display a corpse like a turkey? Well RIP ig...
