There is a also the prohibitive cost of ISDX consider. Some sort of 3D sketch capability is surely something that should be available within every license.
Long story short, PTC developed Skeleton and Data Sharing Feature technology decades ago. Multibody was the response by competitors as an alternative, albeit with less functionality. Then as companies and people went from other CAD packages to Creo, they began demanding Multibody. For years PTC resisted, until a few years ago when they decided to implement it.
