Hi folks, I have got a question from you - How to create sheetmetal unattached Blend wall feature in Creo Parametric with a Rectangle and Circle shape.

I have created video tutorial for you and 3D model too (download here: tiny.cc/smt_blend) Note: I have tried to use same technique for shape - Rectangle to Ellipse, but for this combination is much better if you use divided 2d geometry to smallest entity >> Create Blend feature by blending several sections sketched in parallel planes as show in the picture below (creo-tutorials.4kside.com/#post126)

Hi Valamir , I really like your tutorial on this.It is very helful for creo sheetmetal users. In addition i would also like to say that in creo sketch palette there is a shape called rounded rectangle and rounded circle so instead of mirroring if we use those two shapes in palette can it be unbend also? And please create another video tutorial on ellipse to rectangle explaining the ruled surface and unbend it in video. Its a request. I am an active ptc community member and also posted questions on several topics. one of the topic i would like to mention is that there are not much videos about creo mechanism constraints like explaining ball,planar,bearing and other connections ans constraints In other videos only pin and slider connection are explained but there are other mechanism connections too. Like we generally use servo motr but there is force motor and force torque option. How to use it? There are absolutely no tutorials regarding this. Creo mechanism is very interesting and mechanical related. I hope and request you to create tutorial videos regarding this. With regards, Soumya

Please do a tutorial for unbend if the blend made for eccentric, rectangle to eccentric circle blend and explain how to unbend it.

Hi Soumya, I am glad that you like my tutorials. I have created rectangle manually, because I would like to learn new Creo users - how to manage sketch feature step by step. I have mentioned in the video that is possible to use 2D pallette. The mechanism constraints I would like to descibe step by step ... I have tested mi microphone, but the sound is not so good. If I found some good icrophone - I will create more and more tutorials (if I use subtitles - I need to spend more hours for it). Rectangle to elipse - I have some idea / how to do it easy and quickly - I will try to prepare it soon as possible :) Regards, Vladimir

Hi Vladimir, I'm designer and I'm trying to bend a form like this and I need to create a flat pattern with bend lines. Is it possible in Creo? I know that it's possible in Solid Edge but I can't make in CREO. Thanks for your tutorials

Hi, many shapes is possible to unbend, sometimes we need two use special techniques. For your example... Try to use Flatten quilt technique (if possible) Note: many times the geometry is bended in 2 directions and is not possible to unbend by Creo. Sorry for that. Bye Vladimir
