Well I was looking at so many videos about dirty rice and to me this is the best video I have found I spent two days looking at videos and this is the recipe I like best of all I see are you I’m Mexican but I like the dirty rice And the fact that you added jalapeños to the rice got me to make it thank you very much for your video
Finally a recipe that's almost exactly like what was taught to me decades ago . I haven't made it in years and had forgotten some of the ingredients . I don't put Cajun seasoning in it but instead I I use Crystal brand Louisiana hot sauce , and I might use a bit more chicken livers because we really love chicken liver, but everything else is spot on . Thank you for the recipe . 💌
Wow! This dirty rice looks yummy 😋 This is really magical how you did the bell peppers using the dirty rice with shrimp and cheese, two yummy dises in one😋 I'm glad I found your awesome video! Your tone of voice and music while cooking is just so mellow to listen to. Thank you for sharing your awesome cooking video. I can learn a lot more techniques of cooking

This Guy does it right...I have watched a bunch of these on you tube...He is the ONLY one who does it just like my sweet Mama did....and I am from New Orleans...this is the bomb !
How do u get rice not to be sticky. Mine is ok but not fluffy like when u added it to your meat. I always rinse my rice 3 or 4 times before I cook it and it still be sticky
I use parboiled rice, like Uncle Ben’s or Basmati. Also, I toast my rice in butter at the beginning so that every grain stays separate. Hope this helps.
Always use a heavy pot like he is useing...add a little butter or olive oil to the water...and you NEVER stir the rice while it is cooking...keep the lid on...[maybe sneek open quickly, and use a spoon just to see if the bottom is sticking]...KEEP LID ON... and after it is done let it sit with lid on for maybe an hour or so before removing the lid...then gently fluff with a fork....perfect rice...
this exactly right, so is rice dressing the same? I dont think so but, it may b th same just different name depending on what part of Louisiana I'm in...I dont like rice dressing
Lamonica Roberts thanks for viewing my channel and please don’t forget to like and subscribe! To chop the livers, I used a food processor and pulsed. You can also use a good blender. Happy Cooking 🥘
