My build of a Volkswagen Vanagon T3 Syncro bought off Craigslist for $500. The project was for a trip to the southernmost point of South America and back, which my wife Katie and I took as our two year, extended honeymoon in 2014. 50,000 miles, 15 countries, 32 border crossings, and still running strong!
