Crescent Falls is a pair of waterfalls located in west-central Alberta. They have a combined drop of 27 m (89 ft) and are open to visitors year-round. Although they are relatively more remote, they make for a great side trip on your way to Jasper, Nordegg, or Rocky Mountain House.
To get here, drive to Crescent Falls Provincial Recreational Area just off of David Thompson Highway (Highway 11). There is a designated lot to park your car so you can explore the area on foot. It’s a short, but stunning hike along the Bighorn Canyon, overlooking the valley and river below.
Crescent Falls is absolutely stunning and is one of my favorite waterfalls in Alberta. If you haven’t been here, then your Alberta adventures .
