I just got a pair of tyres i bought myself on ebay for £157, fitted in Honda Glasgow yesterday for £75! 👍😁 They did quote me a supplied & fitted price of £410,so do the same yourself, when you decide on a brand/tread type! 👍😎

Metzler Karoo 4 tyres seem a great dual-purpose tyre, I've got the 3's fitted to the KTM and can't fault them. Check out Cloud Jumper he does a series of tests, gravel, mud and wet tarmac.

I'm an all year round rider... force of habit I guess as I used to have to ride to work for several years because I didn't have a car. I already have my tickets for the Overlander Winter Warmer, a camping weekend at the beginning of February. I'll be interested to see what tyres you get given that the new Suzuki VStrom 800DE has a 21" front wheel as does the new Honda Transalp... both on my radar as a possible next bike.
