@@traindepot Thank you very much for replying to my comment. I would love if you could take a quick look at my page and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I have a new video out now. Hope you like and share.
When u live in europe then travel to germany and use the ICE 3. China just modified the ICE 3 to make them compatible with their systems and that's it. Engines, interior etc are exactly the same.
@@traindepot The ICE 3 is the train the Velaro series was developed from, sort of like it is the father of all these Velaro trains. It has to be said that I am talking about the DB-class 403 and 406 only because Classes 407 and 408 are also Velaros
@@highqualityorangejuice420 All Class 407 and 408 units are ICE 3s actually! Class 407 is known as ICE 3 (MS) (which stands for multisystem I believe) and Class 408 is called ICE 3neo
It is a German made train, it's the Velaro the same model running in Germany as the ICE 3. The Chinese model only has some alterations to allow for service speeds up to 380km/h.
@@mx338 In Europe they are planning to apply the ETCS system in all european countries in the near future. So trains don't need to switch locomotives at the borders. Does the CTCS system also stop the CRH3C trains automatically when a train 1km ahead block the track like in Germany the case with the LZB system?
@@91JRH I am unsure about these details but starting with CTCS level 3, it really does work the same way ETCS works, so I expect the same behaviour you'd see with ETCS. I do not think it acts the same as LZB, as these systems are mutually exclusive, either the track uses ETCS or LZB.
