In my gameplay, AI drop catches way too often. Infielders are better in C22, yiu can't take runs as easily as in C19. Replay videos are also much smoother than C19, shots look more natural and same shots have more variation in replays. I agree on the difficulty thing, it's easier to hit 6s in medium settings in C22. I personally prefer hard settings, it seems to balance out our ability to play all kinds of shots while also keeping the batter honest with their timings and footwork.

Bro what camera settings are these in cricket 22, because honestly the fielding camera in my game, i don't know why but it goes to the point of view of the ball in real time even when i am not hitting a direct hit.

If they add varieties in crowd it would look more realistic

EA Sports Cricket 07 is still the best game I've ever played since childhood.

Since Late 2022 T20 is in Australia,maybe Cricket 23/24 would have more licensed teams

@cricket with a controller, I averaged well above 50 on easy mode but struggled in medium difficulty in cricket 17, what difficutly would you recommend in cricket 22?

There’s no real slog shot, there’s the flick which is the only way of hitting a six on the leg side bar the hook. When you charge however it plays a slog shot but that is never Ariel even when pressing the loft button.

And there is no update whatsoever on Big Ant website on the patches to be released

The camera actually stays Thier on pitch for some seconds so we exactly see what shot did we play and the style of the shot but in 22 the camera literally go to fast can't even see the shot properly I'll have to watch replay to see oh wow I played that much beautiful shot

So AI can now see target score or no?

@ the moment im saying 19 cos 22 keeps freezing all the time , cant progress through certain comps it freezes mine ps4 and xbox are getting traded to eb games

In 19 you could smash any ball I score 673 runs in 22 you need to time it right ball to shot otherwise you get out easy

I was playing c22 and a glitch occurred. The keeper threw the ball to the deep fielder and It went past him close to the boundary. He didn't even to bother to pick up the ball. No matter what buttons and what button combination I pressed, he didn't pick up the ball and the opponent RAN 20+ runs. It caused me to delete the match i was playing

@3:22 completely agree... turns me off completely. Feel like am playing a EA2004 game, whenever the balls travels to outfield. So primitive. Infact made me go back to play a match in C19. What are you telling Straight drive in Ashes cricket 17 is awesome & hands down; I often play Straight drive when feild setting is on hard mode.

You can get out on a ball you play perfectly in real life too

Cricket 22 biggest improvement is lighting. The game is pure trash besides that. U can only appreciate the graphics during the cutscenes esp for the players. The fielding is still trash esp the run out system. The fielders hardly chase the ball wen it's hit to the boundary. They improved the advance down the pitch shot but u can still get out from an ideal shot. The engine the game is built on is flawed. Big ant tried to add too many things to the game and spoiled it. They've brought out patches almost every wk since it's release to try and correct the shit they produced. This game wasn't tested enough before it's release and whoever tested it certainly knows nothing about cricket. This game is far from being a simulation. Cricket 22 is a bust, 19 is way better.

Gonna wait for IGN's explaination review, maybe 7 or 8 out of 10 score is good

Brilliant comparison, the thing I would like them to fix asap is the short delay the batsman on the striker end has before running. Also WHEN WILL THEY MAKE THE HELMETS SMALLER!? They are comically large. They fix the running issue and I will buy it.

Still don Bradman 14 is the most challenging and has great gameplay. The online matches are so fun and by editing players' skills the bowling becomes lethal. Big ant should continue with DBC series

Even though Cricket 19 looked better graphics wise in comparison to Cricket 22. Cricket 22 is more realistic and AI is absolutely great. Computer does make mistakes whereas in Cricket 19 they play perfect making gameplay seem unreal

Cricket 19 still slightly better

Cricket 19 is the best cricket game ever made. Cricket 22 and 24 look like games, with crappy mechanics, whereas Cricket 19 feels like a real life simulation with smooth mechanics. Shiny colours are not realistic, that is a game like feature. Real life doesn't pop with colour.

I don't agree with the difficulty part that cricket 22 is easier. I've played cricket 19 and cricket 22 on medium difficulty and both with ai. And cricket 22 is more real in terms of playing and physics and is more harder on the medium plus. Don't know about thus review everything seems negative about cricket 22

Is it me or the graphics are really bad on XBOX One?And even in EASY difficulty am not able to play shots consistently. The batsman just doesn't seem to go for a run. I dont know if these are bugs or expected! My DBC 14 seems much bette than this.
