transparent batter (so you can actually see where the ball pitches) and an off-stump guard works wonders against spin

You need to adjust your batting style against spin imo. Take guard towards off stump and play a moment earlier. You are playing it after ball lands which is already too late. That style works with fast/medium pace. I would think this would work.

Can any tell me whether their game is incredibly buggy still? It's been through several updates and its still has basic error i.e. commentary blunders, fielders at the stumps running to the bowl when being thrown etc..

Maybe you have to move right across your stumps for the spinners.

Hi. I was having the same nightmare with spin. Try taking guard on off stump & aim between cover and point when blocking. Batter takes a big stride to the offside & blocks. Good luck 👍🏻😂

I don't understand how this game's batting animation continues to be so poor. The slower the bowling the worse the animation reacts. It desperately needs patching or recalibrating somehow.
