I love Cricket 19 but hate player models...but I feel after the coming patches Cricket 24 will be the best game overall...bcz AI is worst in c22 but good in c24...and they also rectified stupid runouts and corrected fieldings from c22..I feel c24 will be the best game after coming patches next week
Cricket 22's fielding is better at the moment, unless they fix 24 with patches, cause fielding is a mess, fielders are way behind the boundary for catches, a bit of Cricket 19 stuff as they go inside the boundary with ball in hand, they concede boundaries when throwing from close to the boundary, and collect balls while facing the crowd from behind, and even skid for unnecessary reasons.....fielding is a mess, they have made AI batsmen more aggressive, which can sometimes be frustrating as they keep hitting you, and several shots like the new lofted cut are unrealistic as hell
When you start playing with sliders, that's when cricket 19 shines. On hard difficulty, batting in test is too easy and on hardest, it is too hard. Which is why I had to resort to sliders just for test matches. After a while, you get accustomed to the kid-like player models. Not to mention, you get the only out of the ground cutscene ever in cricket 19.
Cricket 24 needed to be fixed. I don't know what they have done from June to October but they have not optimised the game properly fielding is not good let's hope upcoming patches will make the game more enjoyable
If you consider that the career mode in cricket 19 is match after match, it's the same with cricket 24 too. At least Cricket 22 had some training modes in career, but nothing in 24. And fielders are dumb af in cricket 24

Cricket 19 just had a very weird design choice for me. The first time I played it I was like why is everyone soo miniature. The player model seemed like you are playing on some novalty mode where everyone is a dwarf. Small bodies, huge heads. As for 24, I hope they fix a lot of the bugs by december/jan when they will add Pakistan, because thats when I plan to buy the game
in my opinion it looks more realistic than cricket 24.. the thighs of cricket 22 players are longer than their legs and they dont even have thigh pads on.. it looks ugly

You should write the title as Early review or Early comparison. Nowadays every new games comes with lots of bug and eventually gets lot of patches to make it better. Same with Cricket 24, Once it gets few patches it will blow out Cricket 19. Better to wait for few months to compare a new game with older game which was improved by patches

Since 19 is half the price of 24 on steam I know what my choice is. I played it on switch with terrible graphics so I’m looking forward to playing it on my steam deck, and then I can afford to get afl 24 at the same time.
like you can wait until C24 gets fixed or just buy it because at the end you will need to get C24 as it will last for a year or so until new Cricket game
Thanks, great video, one question is, i like Cricket 19, but hate it when you can take 2 runs because an infielder dives on the ground and takes forever to get up, or they casually coolect the ball and take forever to throw it. Do they do that in Cricket 22?
