You could use a Syringe to apply the glue internally and bounce the bat on a foam or cushion so it spreads evenly without affecting the bat That helps a lot!!

Sir the use of Dowels have caused two type of damages to the bat. 1. The structural integrity where the bat now is weaker on the long grain. A fast leather ball Yorker / low full toss hit hard by the batsman using this bat where the ball hits the toe, may break the bat in half along the length. 2. If this bat is to be used for playing with leather / cricket ball , The ping and the punch shall be seriously compromised since there won’t be any compression and rebound capacity in the long grains at places occupied by the dowels. Plz note that tight bond type 2 glue you are using creates wood joints Stronger than wood itself. You can test this by joining any two pieces of wood on edges and after 24 hours dry time, put it on two bricks in such a way that there is hollow space underneath the glue line. Take a hammer or any heavy material and hit it hard enough to to break it. You will notice that wood is broken from the places other than the glue line. The way your bat spine was broken provided sufficient glue surface to hold the glue joint for the whole life of the bat. Even if it will break. The break will not be along this glue joint for sure. !! My two cents 😊

The structural integrity of this bat is damaged beyond repair. Even after this, it can be only used for tennis-ball cricket. With a regular leather cricket ball, this will not last even one game.
