Great little venue Pondwood. Hadn't visited it for some years until a return trip this summer, had the most amazing day catching dozens of Cats from lake 1.

Either of you on the RKLeisure syndicate ? Definitely an entertaining format with these mini matches, if it was fishology you could carry on with some perch/pike/roach ones in the colder weather. With the baiting poles, much like a boat, do you not worry about rigs not being straightened out? Obviously with the solid bag that’s not an issue, but otherwise? Thinking of getting one, look damn handy for getting under trees and so forth, like a boat but cheaper and not banned everywhere I fish
Can't help to mention that the lake rules were broken, it's a shame really as honest people fish here like myself and follow the rules but get in front of the camera rules seem to be forgotten Rule 3 No ground bait, loose feed, P.V.A bags etc… hook baits only.
You are now allowed to use PVA bags of loose feed only....I know because I was told I could do it by the bailiff when booked and fished this summer just gone.
On some busy venues they get caught a lot, probably 10+ times a year. Barbless hooks seem to cause more damage, but I can understand why venues insist on them.
