A great point raised by the Chairman of Star and Disney India Uday Shankar that cricket needs clarity in its structure of games like tri series or quad series for t20 instead of Bilateral meaningless series , it can be better competitive cricket at international level and at domestic level , in India only tournament gets noticed is IPL other than that nothing , I think we should make IPL division wise , div.1 - 10 IPL team , Div.2 - 20 teams(which are capitals teams instead of state teams)then 20 in div.3 by this bigger states can have 2or3 teams in competitive division and many things we can do in it and `Make Cricket Competitive Again' .

Technically every state has their own T20 league, right? And they want to own it for financial reasons. And those leagues are basically divisions only. Agree on the trie series though - except I'm sure there's lots of financials and scheduling at play.

@@pantonfire ya but I think leagues not happening in states other than Maharashtra, karnataka and TNPL. I am from bihar so in this structure it doesn't matter for me who wins TNPL but in division wise at least I am curious for the teams of my division or upper division. And also there is a possibility or hope in it that my capital (patna) team can win IPL and that feeling only, drives people crazy to go for games and much more . Slowly Cricket's losing its charm , an official stat is that In India Cricket's popularity has declined from 90 %in 1990s to 77% in 2013 to 67%in 2019 . And that's the time for BCCI to make cricket more international centric to more(not all) domestic centric. Pahle toh BCCI cricket ko india centric bana rahi h and than ye soch rhi h ki international cricket khel ke charm badha sakti h , bilkul nhi .

Sanju Samson scores 30-40 percent of his run in the first 3-4 matches is completely understandable. Sanju played 12 matches last year. So he scored remaining 60-70 percent of his runs in remaining 8-9 matches which is probably around 70 percent of tournament. Sanju didn't have great last year but this year till now he is far ahead of Pant in IPL. AND I HAVE LOOKED AT STATS. Surprisingly till now in the IPL even Rahul Tewatia has more runs then Pant.

IPL 2020: Pant - 35 @ S/R 135.2, Sanju - 29 @ S/R 164. 176 runs vs. 202 runs, plus Pant has played 1 less match. Both seem to be playing different roles for their teams this year. Both doing it pretty well. What stats you talking about? P.S. I'm also a big fan of Sanju, he's beautiful to watch and a terrific fielder - but, currently: Pant is still edging ahead for Team India. First Class: Pant - 48.3, Sanju - 37.6. Not to forget that Pant has set Indian Test records as a Wicket Keeper batsmen (Avg. 39). Even in IPL overall - Pant - 36.1 @ 160, Sanju - 27.7 @ 132.

Even if you go by domestic records of Samson and Rishab Pant, there isn't a huge difference. The problem I see is Samson wasn't given enough(played only 4 T20) chances in the international matches even if he traveled with the team. In this regard pant got so many unfair chances and he isn't consistent either. Another player should have been given chances way before is Surya Kumar Yadav. He's already 30 now.

Lol, dude. Did you even research their stats? First Class: Pant - 48.3, Sanju - 37.6. Not to forget that Pant has set Indian Test records as a Wicket Keeper batsmen (Avg. 39). Aakash has some balls, or cojones as the Mexicans here in the US call it, on him going after the twin sacred cows of Indian cricket - Sachin and Dhoni 😊 But fully support his freedom of expression. This whole new trend of going after commentators like Gavaskar, Manjrekar, Aakash Chopra etc for views they express about players is ludicrous. They are commentators that's what they are paid to do is give their opinions about the game and the players. Plus commentating and playing are two completely different skill sets. One could have been a mediocre player but can be a brilliant commentator. At this rate there will be no more Harsha Bhogle's as well.

Bhai, anime AUR ipl pe charcha, bas karo Yaar mai hila doonga. Btw Sourabh, Aakash was wrong about Fullmetal Alchemist. Yes, it has two versions, 'Fullmetal Alchemist' and 'Fullmetal Alchemist:brotherhood', but brotherhood doesn't continue the story, it's a remake, which follows the manga a lot more better, and has the same ending as the manga, unlike the first Fullmetal Alchemist. Imo, U shd watch only Brotherhood, i.e. the remake which I think is better. Both versions are on Netflix.
