Thank you for taking the time to go through those icons. I have had my E2AE in a box for a loooong time after my first attempt to get through it on my own.
This is JUST what I have been looking for to show me how to work my Cricut. THANK YOU!!!. I think I have been cutting vinyl wrong so I will change the setting to "kiss cut" and see if that helps... I learned so much from this video...
thank you so much. This really helps as I just bought one and I was so regretting my purchase of the expression 2. Looking forward to watching all your videos.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. This machine seems to be completely different from the Expression (1). Maybe even easier once you get the hang of it . . . gee I hope that's true! You have a real knack for teaching this way .I don't do change well, which makes your tutorial so necessary (and appreciated) to learners like me.
Hi, Melody Lane. Frisco Lane here! I am torn between buying the Pazzles, as i like the computer connection idea. Does it really do any more than this? Will Cricut hook up to a PC? Sorry if I missed it in the vid. The Real Frisco (my mutt) kept bugging me the first time I watched.
Hi Melody I know this video is older but was helpful and I just upgraded my expression to an e2 n was wondering if you knew if there is or ever will be an update that we can just move our images around to place them like we do on our gypsy instaed of all this space and line return key buisness?? lol
Hi! I’m a brand new ! I have been given an Expression 2 ! I’m super excited to get started! I watched your video and do understand a lot more ! Thank you! I want to make my first project as a monogram but I’ve been frustrated by trying to understand how to weld letters! I saw where you said you didn’t think it would do it. Did you ever figure out if it could be done? If not, do I need to just put them as close together as possible? Or should I invest in gypsy ? Design space won’t work because of no way to connect it to internet! Also, how big should I make a monogram to fit on a t shirt ( to fit on where monogram would usually be applied) I would like to use fabric so I’m not sure if I need to buy a special backing ? I will also be trying iron on vinyl as well! Thank you so much for any help!
Great! I'm registering my machine and will download cricut craft room software as well. I would really love to see your tutorials on making phone charger wraps. Please and Thank you! You are wonderful! Have a wonderful weekend! Many thanks once again! Sooo appreciative !! You are amazing and awesome!
I just got the cricut expressions two. And I was just wondering if I can use the silicone keypads from the cartridges with it. I couldn't figure out where it goes if I can. Thanks!!!
Found an Expressions 2 at a garage sale. Had no books with it,so am trying to figure it out. I have a Christmas cartridge and found it requires an Universal layout pad. How do I use it when my machine does not require pads? I was told I could still cut all the items in the cartridge, but how do I use that Universal one so that I can get the finished details on my projects?
Hi Melody. I'm trying to decide what machine I need for my purposes. I am not a scrap booker (at this time!). I'm looking for a machine to cut vinyl saying and quotes for craft purposes. I want different fonts and sizes. Also, is it possible to create your own text with either expressions machine...or by adding a gypsy? Also, for glass block or tile vinyl, do you need the vinyl that can be repositioned or not? Thank so much!
I lost mine too. Now I just buy these for my cricut and my daughter's ds. If you look up ds stylus on amazon, it'll take you straight to the really cheap 4 pack styluses. They work really well!
Great tutorial ! Very helpful! I am needing help with my Circuit Expressions 2 machine. I am a beginner and just learning how to use the machine. I am wanting help with detail information on how to make a phone charger wrap-- they need to be 1 inch x 4 inches in size. I will have a design on each side and then a monogram ( single or 3 letter monogram in the middle). Not sure how I locate a 3 letter monogram as well? Not sure if I can make it or need to buy another cartridge for 3 letter monogram fonts. REally enjoyed your tutorial. Many thx in advance. Awesome job! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
Hi, thanks for the quick response. It very much answers my question. I like the PC option, but the stand alone feature for the cheaper price has just about sold me.
Help! I just purchased an Expression 2, this is the first cricut I've ever operated. Does it work with the Design Space website and the Craft Room website? What's the difference between them?
Hi melody. I know this is an older video. I have an opportunity to buy a cricut expressions 2 second hand. Do you know if the software will still be loaded if I have to re register. Sometimes you never know with second items.Thank you for any tips and suggestions
I just got the machine and don't know how to advance the items I want to cut on the next line once they are done from the first. For example, I wanted some more images but finish the first line. How do I cut the next items ? I have the first Cricut and know how to move the location of the blade to cut numerous images to fill out the 12 x 12.
Please help!.. My Expression 2 is brand new been bought a while though!.. It does not change from the first screen even with a 'soft start' !.. Have U heard of this problem from anyone else?.
Thanks for your reply!.. I've never heard of ''firmware' .. Where can I buy that, I'm willing to try anything at this point!.. The people at Cricut did say there's nothing they can do, I can't give up because I have a lot of cartridges I bought to use with it plus it had cost me over $300. CAD 😩
Does this work with the new circut app? I am so confused on how to use where do I put paper and do I put it in machine with mat ? I Am a newbie Thank you
I can't seem to press the buttons the way you do,. I just opened my cricutexpression2. I have my pointer but that doesn't seem to work as easy as your finger...What's the button pressing secret. With the alphabet i think i'm hitting the correct letter but the next one shows up. I appreciate the arrow line up on the cutter. I never would have figured that out without wasting lots of paper.
I am trying to cut a heart out of the center of an 8.5 x 11 paper that I have printed on already. I can't get the heart I have chosen to center in the middle of the paper. The space bar doesn't move the heart over at all until I add it about 4 times, then it is too far over! Help!
I am trying to write a word and make it where I don't have to put each letter on my vehicle window one at a time. I can't figure out how to make the word one line down the 24inch length of paper it keeps putting letters all over the place how can I make it in a row and rotate the letters. I have the letters rotated but I can't get them to line up
hola buen dia quisiera por favor me ayude a conseguir el instalador de esta maquina cricut expression 2 ya que tengo este modelo ...pero por motivos de instalador no la puedo utilizar
Hi! I know this is an old video. But you seem knowledgeable about cricuts. I have an opportunity to buy a cricut mini second hand. Do you know if I can upload my own images with that one? I'm wanting to make a birthday shirt for my daughter as well finally start scrapbooking. Thank you for any advice or help.
need advice cricut says craft room has been updated to what it could not do 6 years ago. been on chat for long time an keep getting booted advice please.
howdy new to this e2 or any other circuit, i just want to learn how to make stencils so i can make t shirts. i am just trying to use text and move it around, you make it look easy. but not so easy for me.
@@melodylane Are they all capable of the same things or are some better for things than other. So what you can cut scrapebook shapes, can you make your own tshirt irons, bummper stickers cards, stickers and other things as well? Can you do those on all or just certain models?
@@dawn1607 you can't with this model and its been discontinued for years. you can do almost everything with any Cricut explore or Cricut Maker, the newest machine is the Cricut Maker 3. here are some videos on newest machines. ru-vid.com/group/PLPvqhFCBvwhsvCh-8HrTusuJu3QRzAQe1
@@dawn1607 there are 175,000 images you can cut in Design Space with the current machines, I show new images every week. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-joB4meVPgFI.html
+Melody Lane Thank you SO much! Just seeing that you can actually use the Gypsy with the Expression 2 is a help. A friend of mine has the 2 (I'm sticking with my old Expression!) and she brought the machine and her Gypsy over and asked me help her. She has yet to use the Craft Room (I LOVE it!) so I will have her upload the Craft room as soon as she gets her new computer. THANK YOU!
I was disappointed that the presenter wasn't as familiar with the product as I had hoped. I purchased the expression 2 and have use the cricket room but am having trouble with using cartridges I have. It was easier with the cricket expression and the overlays.
I know you commented a long time ago but I agree with you. I'm not trying to be rude to her but she didn't even have her may and paper ready. And she's struggling through some of the buttons. That's when I said, "okay, I need to watch a different tutorial." It just made me more frustrated.
Was pure torture watching this. Also, next time, may want to have someone else operate the machine with shorter nails so that you speed it up. Was annoying having to watch you attempt the buttons over and over due to your large nails.
I was seriously considering buying a Cricut. After watching your video, I am completely put off. It just looks so flipping fiddly and didn't exactly explain anything at all. The questions I want to know are: Does it connect wirelessly to my PC, Can you still cut using normal dies with it, Do you get everything in the box to get you up and running, or do you need to buy other stuff as well (I've seen tools, pens etc) This is a big outlay for home crafters, so we need to know it will do what we want, if we've had to save up for it, and not be disappointed because we want to illustrate something we're going to cut, but dont' have any pens supplied. How do you upload your own designs to it? So many questions. Sorry, but you didn't seem to know how to do much at all, the video goes on for ages without actually telling us much.
Watch the first part of your tutorial. 12"X24" . You say " You just load it how you want to set it up." Something... Yep, 24", gonna fit right in that 12" slot. Think Melody. I'm not happy since the owl thing. "Um... they were on the table." REALLY!!! COULDN'T GIVE ME THE NAME? U R TUNED OUT!!!
