Fashionably late to the Cricut Maker 3 party! I never felt the need to upgrade my Cricut Explore Air 2 so I waited until I found a good deal on this new machine to purchase it! This was so much fun to watch! I bought my first Cricut Explore in 1998 and then the Imagine a few years later when it came out. Last year I got my Explore 3. Wow, have these machines evolved over the years! I can’t wait to see your upcoming videos featuring your Cricut projects.

@@TheFoiledPlan I realized that I made a mistake stating that I bought my first Cricut in 1998! It was the original Cricut Expression and it was in 2008! I remember I received it shortly after my mother-in-law passed away and that was 2008. My father-in-law had passed away in 1998 so that is why I mixed up the date. 🤦‍♀️ It was quite the process using the silicon overlay that came along with each cartridge and was placed on a keyboard located on the front of the machine! Those cartridges were really expensive, too! I added on the Gypsy that connected to your Cricut and would store your cartridges plus had a primitive “Design Space” to send designs to your machine… This is why I said Cricut has come a long way over the years!

thanks for the video, I'm thinking about buying a Cricut, need it to be able to cut chipboard titles in particular. Would the Maker 3 suit me ?

Hi Suzie! Thanks for watching :) yes you would want the maker or maker 3. These two models are compatible with the knife blade and have the power to cut through chipboard! Just be prepared to be very patient because it takes quite a bit of time for multiple passes of the blade! 😁

Please, don't keep the protective plastic sheet on the brick, this is very bad for the charger. The plastic keeps the heat on the charger, which might cause issues
