I went for first time and solo in February. I cancelled my hotel in Times Square because the crime was concentrated there at the time. I stayed on the lower east side And I ended up having a fantastic time other than encountering crack heads here or there. Also tbh, I crossed the road whenever I saw groups of men in hoodies or who looked suspicious in general.

This issue regarding ghost guns is not why there's so many firearms in the streets people aren't being shot by ghost guns. I haven't seen one report by news media or police where an individual shooting was a result of a ghost guns. Guns are purchased by individuals who have excessive gun stashes and because of a loss of income decide to sell their firearms.
