There are plenty of safe, normal places for kids to be kids. None of them are in the US, so glad I moved my family abroad to an actual 1st world country, my kids are thriving now.

Here's an idea. Give the scooters to college kids in small non crime ridden towns like College Station Texas. It's ridiculous to destroy them just because they are illegal. Make them legal and free to college kids in college towns in the midwest. Now that used cars are too expensive it seems stupid to destroy what is otherwise a scooter than can be put to good use on a campus that is as big as a city.

Yeah read between the lines here they said a customer who been there many times with no trouble.What that tells me is that the mechanic shop keeps the gauging this guy cause they never fix the problems; they said it was over 30 dollars so how many times this guy have to bring his motor bike there and how much total did he give this shop before he snaps and realizes he getting beat.
They could've sold those scooters to other states for a profit to put into their city for cheap and to help out people that don't have vehicles that have a hard time getting places. (Like the grocery stores, to work, etc). Government just doesn't care and don't think.
