I can honestly say I prefer these episodes where they just talk to each other about things and laugh. I’m kinda getting over the celebrity guests on podcasts because it’s all about how fabulous their lives are while we’re all like.. uhh how are we gonna buy groceries.. kinda thing. Haha. No hate at alll. Just makes me happier to listen to this.
I’m feeling grateful I got to see Dana Carvey’s comedy show tonight for the first time in Northern California. I decided to wear the “church lady” shirt. I enjoyed the show so much. His impressions are so spot on. I’ve been watching him since I was a kid back when he was on snl. ❤️
This is the best, most natural and funny Superfly yet, keep it up guys. I especially lov the run from 29:30 to 37:00, Dana’s Jay Leno-bot 1000 is hysterical, plus asking a lady of the night about how fast you can run the 50 yard dash as is Woody Allen trying to pay a prostitute in Dogecoin and Spade finding a Circus Circus chip
Legit. They keep my mental health in check, I swear. A little mood boost twice a week.. I have 3 little kids and it feels like my entire life is cleaning and cooking etc but I can listen to them while doing it and laugh and somehow things are ok.
David, you need a driver. I'll see you in Knoxville the 29th. You also need to have a meet and greet sometime. Forever fan and seen many standup shows.
I think My Three Sons actually had 4. The oldest one left the show (went off to college or something on the show) and Fred MacMurray adopted the youngest kid at that point. Mike, Robbie, Chip and Ernie.
I love you guys 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The whole driving thing...a cute little red LOL!! And the shaving convo...I'm gonna have to tell the Doctor... 🤣🤣Always love the Biden bits LOL!!
13:47 Spade dropped me with this one. The golden mumbler. 26:25 When I first heard Drake Sather a few years ago, I was a little freaked out by how much he and Norm sounded alike. They worked for Dennis, but they didn't sound like him...
Another one from 1980 like “twig ankles” was “film leg” That’s when I guy had thin legs but when sat down from the side was so thin like film. Film leg…
Beautiful country around oroville, im a mantooth from tennessee, but i spent alot of time around redbluff, the coast, shasta and all that when i was younger.
Well, yeah, that plus............. I thought there was a fourth son.... Maybe I'm thinking of another sit com, also before my time, and this "extra" kid showed up just once? And no: not Oliver from Brady Bunch.
Do you suppose, when a cop pulls a guy over for a ticket, he's thinking, "Oh, please don't give me any grief this time, cuz I just can't handle it." Or is he thinking, "I hope he resists. I dearly hope he resists. I am just in the mood to hold this mofo for 48 hours without booking him." ??
I figured it out, they're wearing the same shirt because Dana is pretending to be David, both are Dana, he puts on a fake goatee, and then inmate's Dave voice ( perfectly because he's Dana Carvey )
Right in between the doppelganger segment and Ed Sheeran superfan marries Ed Sheeran doppelganger segment goes this: a photo of Ed Sheeran posing with his Ed Sheeran doppelganger in an ET article about how he can't find love (in 2016): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-358D0HbEeP0.html
Running a red light is plain dangerous. Criminologists/sociologists/urban planners, need to put their heads together to come up with a batch of new ideas for solving these store invasions. It's difficult because of budgeting, and testing out ideas; you don't want the solution(s) to be worse than the crime. They can have the DA come in as a guest.
Anyone else think these two are hotter than ppl like Brad Pitt because they look good and their personalities are absolutely 10/10? It would be amazing if they did a tour together.. to CANADA (I’m in Sask). Haha. They could come here and just read flyers out loud and I’d shell out my $ to be there. Ah maybe I’ll get lucky and spot David at the Grove someday..lol
The game show with the balloon popping was a bit funny at first, but it's mean-spirited and just plain sad. This is like bottom-of-the-barell TV stuff. Please don't give me any more of it.
Sounds like you're on the bad side of your maid. You can try to get on her good side by getting on her backside the way Arnold did to his. He knocked a darker version of himself out of her. Get on it, Dana.
Doesn’t “Talk to the doctor” voice sound like the ceo of Bash from ‘Don’t look up’ ?!?! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aXkZvv4DzxE.htmlsi=QKwnwlHtQGsxvUts
David Spade spoiling us with back to back impressions: Last time it was Michael J. Fox, this time it's Woody Allen, and what a great one it is. Keep em' coming!
This is the closest ive ever come to a fan letter but im Loving fly on the wall and superfly. Btw I think spade is underrated. I’m now rewatching just shoot me. Also underrated!! Thank you both for the laughs. You are appreciated in kingman Az
😂 Swardson's stories of how he basically has a lifetime "get out of a ticket" free card because of Terry from Reno 911 are hilarious lololol poor Spade
David had the right take on the low budget game show, that guy came across as looking better than the woman. The show should be called burst your bubble
advice for young parents in addition to "don't shake the baby" or "don't drop the baby down the stairs" now should include "don't push the baby into a busy intersection", sound advice Dana. who says old people aren't as funny anymore? oh yeah, the Yoda of comedy Jerry Seinfeld. personally I think you guys are as funny as ever.
David reads this… “old guys!?” These superfly episodes are so funny. Just off the cuff takes that are fun commentary. You can really see how they developed sketches in the SNL writers room. Just random funny takes on current events.
@@WJHDetroit yep. I find it's even more interesting watching talented comics improvise with more stream of conscious spontaneity. And I'm also these guys age and come from a similar background when father's beat their kids with belts, so I can totally relate to them as well.
A good film that covers cross culture, class and language is "Spanglish." Sandler, Tea Leoni, Paz Vega, the late Cloris Leachman, and talented others, great script. A classic.
Oh SHIT I haven't watched since Dex passed away. I didn't know they even did this taped! I always wanted to see their expressions and now I can! I used to have a ritual with my husband about 2 years ago. We would get snacks at Wawa and go sit in a parking lot looking at the water and just listen to this and have a little date. Every week at 2 or 3.
Ok I'm not saying it's OK to run a red light or brake the law but I think the cop could have given you a warning then if you do it again then give you a ticket, I mean it's a tough call you didn't cut anyone off or hurt anyone or anything so I think he should have given you a warning but I think that because you didn't have your license that's probably why he gave you the ticket because I think he probably would have let you off with a warning. At least you didn't flip off the cop, I can tell you that would be worse if you gave him road rage finger lol
I agree there should be prioritizing on crime a little bit. Did you wake up and so you know what I’m gonna stock these guys trickling through these intersection it’s really putting everyone in danger gosh darn it
These two are making my life waaay more tolerable.... They rarely make em like they use to! as a "millennial" I gotta say the 80's and 90's was peak comedy... I wish SNL could bring em all back to like a Nostalgia season... yet the woke brigade would just ruin it... So it feels like Superfly is that exciting visit with ya whacky uncles! :D love you guys! Hope you tour Australia...
Fan Interaction: Dana, not exactly dating advice but as a fellow married family man what strategies do you employ if you find your kid's friend distasteful.
