i feel bad for the father of those children who mistakenly got shot, its just sad to see a innocent person mistakenly get shot infront of their own children and wife
I actually saw one of my favorite streamers get Swatted. They were basically traumatized and didnt stream for like two weeks. What kind of sick person does this
@@saintsupreme33 what do you mean "really but not really"? Swatting innocent people isn't fun at all and all it really does it just waste the swat's time going to someone house when they did nothing wrong.
@@saintsupreme33 5 months late but how tf is swatting someone FUN? what if it happened to you? bunch of people coming into your house AIMING big ass guns towards you? its not funny..
Tuv I really hope you are doing better. You have almost 900 thousand people who enjoy and wait to see your content every day. We all love you edit: 900K!
There should be a law that prevents anyone from sending a swat team anonymously. Like they should require a name from the caller so that if it is a fake call they get a minimum of 5 years in prison + additional time for any damage caused (in the case of the father getting shot, in my mind the 3 douchebags who called in the swat are directly responsible for the death and should be charged with at least manslaughter if not murder).
I'm a Buffalo native and I came across this video curious if it talked about that shooting and after seeing your comment I realized this came out prior to it happening. I've unfortunately seen this Livestream, and it is absolutely INSANE, how much of his rampage he was actually able to stream, basically the whole thing. I just don't understand how Twitch failed to take it down quicker. I know it wasn't super long, and it happened so fast but still. They need to get their shit together
I heard there were these "hate raids" going on where someone would tell all their viewers to say racial slurs in a streamers chat (Streamer isn't streaming) and report them for not moderating chat. I heard some people did get banned for this.
That’s like if somebody could get my franchise location shut down for coming in and yelling racial slurs. Like, moderate the actual trolls, not the owner. You can’t be an accessory to Disturbing the Peace in real life, so why should the internet be any different?
i remember charlie (moist) being a target of that LOL. dude went on as usual and the kids from the hate raid just looked like the sad losers and left after a while. great shit
Tyler Barriss was charged 20 years because he had been "swatting" for years so he got charged for each fraudulent call in each of the states, there were 51 charges against him. So it's not even that he got charged for just that one call, he had been doing it for years and Andrew Finch dying just brought attention to it. Just wanted to point out why his sentence was so long.
I mean, it's nothing new under the sun. If during streaming that happens, imagine when they are not streaming and to those who don't stream. But if women complain about it they get thrown with "victimisation" and "exaggeration".
Watching H3h3 has shown me that after being swatted many times, theLAPD calls Ethan's cell phone to confirm emergencies before raiding. Which could have the negative effect if actually is having an emergency
TUV! Great vid bud and you ain't kidding about Twitch staff lulz. LOL I was hammered when you came in the stream please excuse the slurring in the clip haha. Anyways man was cool to meet ya in stream and I appreciate you sending some love my way Tuv
swatting is actually crazy. Like imagine you’re just trying to stream and chill and play a game for a little and the police come in with guns and lasers pointed at you😭id shit myself.
There is a documentary about that Swatting incident. Apparently it started over a game for $1-2 on a third party site. There is also a doc about a community who helped assist authorities in finding a player who unalived his parents. Deep down I feel the gaming community is full of good caring people and like any community there are idiots and sociopaths.
It's f**ked. I've had a fairly close seat to the thing since I'm friends with Andy's sister. A bunch of dumbasses made malicious decisions and set in motion a chain of events that led to a trigger happy officer being 44 yards away with a rifle and the 10th Circuit denied his ass qualified immunity. Their only worth will be the return of their net molecules to the ecosystem after their useless lives end. I'm not bitter.
as someone who used to work to a twitch related company during the security leak things were getting kind of weird and we were being looked at as the possible reason so yea things were tough
Hope you’re doing better than better tuv. Just the fact that you still uploaded while we know things are going down in your life shows what kind of dude you are & I commend you for that. Love you and hope everything keeps getting better for u 💕
Hope you're doing well after your surgery tuv! Thanks for putting so much effort and hard work into your content, it really shows. We all love you and we're here for you if you need to take another break at any point
On March 31st of this year I was streaming at 9:00 in the morning and about 3 hours into my stream I ended up hearing my uncle scream out in pain for me... And I ended up losing him later that day. I haven't went back to the VOD but I was hanging out with a friend at the time and he said you could see the horror on my face when I came back to end stream.
This guy is amazing, he puts so much effort into his videos, the editing and research is very good and he even adds some jokes in, he may not be straight forward, but none of us mind.
I’m so glad that I came across your channel. You’re one of my favorite RU-vidrs of all time and I’ve watched all of your videos. I hope you’re doing alright after the surgery. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re great at it.
It BAFFLES me how many people still try to use being "taunted" as justification for lashing out at others. PSA: If your ego [*and often, "MASCULINITY"] is FRAGILE enough that something as simple as someone verbally insulting you triggers a full-on emotional meltdown resulting in violence [**because YES, "aLpHA MaLEs" - anger IS an emotion], then YOU ARE AT FAULT. Your lack of emotional control is not an excuse for bad behaviour - especially since emotional control IS A SKILL. If you aren't SKILLED ENOUGH in emotional control yet to not turn into a flailing caveman anytime someone "taunts" you, then GET GOOD.
"Trans women are women, and trans men are men" Tuv is great. Im a new fan of the channel, but I think I'm probably going to continue watching his videos for a long time.
I (a trans guy) feel that letting a trans woman get away with a literal crime is worse than perma-banning her. It makes it feel like we are on another wavelength. Like we aren't / shouldn't be treated the way cis people are. It's weird and gross that they let her get away with it.
@@MickeyMouse-lm6zj yeah obviously, but she still shouldn’t have gotten away with it whether it was because she was trans or not. she threatened a large amount of very real people.
twitch is just a mess and isnt really worth the time, so im glad that you'll be streaming on youtube. looking forward to watching some of your streams :D edit: literally spitted out my drink at 20:11
The Andrew Finch and Tyler Bisset tragedy is a documentary on a Netflix show covering all of this The Show is “Web of Make Believe” it’s the first episode titled “Death by Swat”
I am muted for having music in my stream. And I still haven't been unmuted after I appealed it. I am a woman too, so Twitch only does the unbanning/unmuting thing for ATTRACTIVE women. If you're a dude or an ugly chick they don't care about you.
Attractiveness or gender are probably not the main factors, they just favor streamers that produce the most money and attract the most viewers (because twitch takes a huge commission on that)
I'm pretty sure the leaks already showed that Twitch plays favorites like crazy. They have scores that are kept internally which show how "friendly" the streamer is for advertisers and staff.
Swatting is Terrifying, Like Imagine, Your a Streamer, Innocently Playing a Game on Your Stream, And a Swat Team Comes in, With Guns, To Arrest you, Thats Terrifying!
tuv you do the content that is interesting to me and content that not many people do. Thanks for this good content and i hope you reach 1 million! Keep up the good work.
Sometimes, twitch bans are kinda like youtube age restrictions. Someone can post a video about something really bad like a very gory movie and that would be okay, but apparently, a compilation of a youtuber laughing or a video about nothing wrong would get age restricted
@@roblocc5112 No he wouldn't have? How stupid do you have to be to think that a robber is always going to use their weapon. Using it is a last resort if someone fights back because the robber knows that if he kills someone, he will get into wayyyy much more trouble
The Tyler Bariss story was actually shown on TV. It's a really good show called Web of Lies on the ID channel. It was really horrible and sad what happened. My heart broke when his mom was telling the story of what happened.
23:02 murder also, there was a Russian man who did pranks and killed his gf by making her stand in the cold in her underwear and left her on the couch in the background
Stas Reeflay is a controversial Russian Twitch streamer known for thrash streaming which is a subgenre of live streaming illegal, dangerous or sometimes even deadly things without consequences or having people do deplorable actions to other innocent people.
"and ya got some big.. personalities" without missing a beat 😂 EDIT: wow some powerful stuff there. And that scream holy crap, that's an authentic stream.
Hi Tuv! I've followed your account since around 100k and I'm so so happy that you're growing so fast! You deserve it! We all hope you're doing better and we will always wait for your content! ❤️
Oh dude the earning rankings leak was so funny on dsmp tumblr, people made little blinkies saying "My streamer is (insert numbered placement)" and were having a blast, goofiest event in the dsmp fandom
Oh God, this brings me back to the Critical Role controversy. "Ah yes, voice actors make money on Twitch. Why don't they donate a shit ton to charity? Never mind the fact that the Critical Role Foundation exists." That Twitch leak was so dumb
@@gil2644 so basically, Critical Role was outed as one of or the highest earning Twitch stream during the leaks. Critical Role fans being insane, harassed the cast for not giving a large portion of money to charity. I don't remember the end result by my take is Critical Role does a lot for charities already and they should be allowed to enjoy their success on Twitch
@@gil2644 alright, better version of the explanation. As mentioned, Critical Role was outed as the highest earning stream. The CR fandom, specifically the crazies, harassed I think it was Matt, Marisha, Laura, Ashley, and Travis specifically because A. They weren't giving that money to charity, B. It shattered the illusion of a group of nerdy ass voice actors playing D&D, and C. they did sponsorships on top of it, specifically the infamous Wendy's sponsorship. However they failed to account for the fact that some of them have kids to feed (Liam, Laura/Travis, and Sam), they have employees to pay with possible families, they already do a lot for charity, and that money is likely put into maintaining equipment. Overall, a misinformed period of outrage that led to harassment. My previous explanation was done angrily so here's a better version and keep in mind, this drama has been dead for a while
15:35 bro anyone who acctually tried roasting bro for letting out a lil scream then you obviously have no idea what it feels like to have your fate decided by another human. Ive been held at gun point, and ive had knives pulled out on me in that situation everything changes your whole life comes to a stop and its just about surviving then and its cery easy to do something like this especially being in your own house where you feel safe to turn around and me met by a gun an 2 masked men i know full well anyone making fun of bro would have sh*t in there pants in a situation like that.
Holy shit. I love comments like these bc I get to see that this man got like 600k subscribers in the 5 months since your comment. That is absolutely insane.
It's so nice to wake up to a tuv upload, i really love your videos you do a great job with the presentation, information and atmosphere, hope you're feeling well after the surgery and I thank you for working hard for us, we love you
TUV is luv lol I forgot how down to earth this man is I really appreciate his his commentary. Thanks man it’s really good to know people like you are out there in this world filled with jerks. Not everyone is horrible but most are.
hey tuv, i hope you’re doing better man. we’re almost 900k and we love you so much!!! thank you for making all of these videos, i truly enjoy them a lot. love you
I heard Dr Disrespect sued them but it's kinda a draw for both parties. I guess they're already way too big at this point, that no one can do anything against these companies
What a world we live in where you cant even share a viral video without fear of copyright, its honesty ridiculous like especially twitch clips if the streamer isnt getting the money why should a big company
Here in Spain we just got an scandal with one big streamer because he got caught on Twitch with an alternative account of twitter who he used just for insult people without followers that trashtalked on his content. (Sorry for my bad english ^^ )
I remember one time when there was an 'adult' steam ( don't know if I can say the word) but basically adult activities were being streamed on twitch, I didn't see them myself but people were going crazy about it, maybe it was fake but anyway, have a good day/night everyone!
