I would love to buy that magnet from you for my grandson. I am trying to get him outdoors doing more things. I have tried to get into contact with you for myself and mostly my grandson. You see he was in an accident almost 2 years ago when he was 9 and received major burns on his legs and arm. He was hospitalized for a long time and it was touch and go. I would love to chat more about the story because you have a part in his healing so far. He has until he is 25 when he stops growing before all his surgeries and such are done. Long road ahead of him but I want to get him to do the magnet fishing to get him out into the world again and do something he has so much interest in. If you would like to hear how you have played a part in his recovery give me a shout out. I think you would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day. Big round thing with the center hub (around 13:15) is a torque convertor for an automatic transmission on a car

The mysterious piece at @5:00 is steering box with the lower steering shaft attached. The u-joint gives me the impression it is not from a passenger car.

Awesome finds today. It seems that there is a car 🚗 in the water. Jared from Adventures with Purpose made an amazing system. He used a flat metal piece them attached 4 heavy duty magnets to it. He uses them to mark cars they are diving for. You pulled up alot of cool things. I hope that fella puts lock tight on his magnet before he looses it for good if it becomes detached. The one you found right before the sound cut out is what they call a wire, tow boat use them as face wires and barge wires. I was a deckhand for 8 years and seen plenty of those things.

I think I will try magnet fishing here in Upstate NY when I retire. 2-3 years from now. The item that you both are looking at appears to be barrel from a pistol. Wow, another car part.
