I just came here for Kim Soo Hyun's new drama and this is really great, this series is captivating. I do not what to expect for this uncoming new version!
People comparing this to HBO's new version is silly. This came earlier, with less budget, and on BBC for christ sake. We should be happy HBO decided to re-make it. Otherwise we would have never enjoyed such an awesome series. So in essence, you gotta give his first version a lot of credit.
This right now has been made into a korean drama remake starring Kim Soohyun. The director is doing phenomenal with their shots, angles & camera. Then tie it with the Male lead's acting.
sorry for my toxix comment! But i don't mean the original version is not good. Maybe i feel K version is better because this aired more than 8 years ago. And because I watch One Ordinary Day first before the original version
For the ones who can't find the last three episodes of this, it's in Daylimotion Such an excellent drama. I watched it in one afternoon. Pete Postlethwaite, the best as always, and Ben Whishaw keeps giving us good interesting original things to watch with his name on it and with a brilliant precise performance. I knew I was doing the right thing when I started to follow his career.
For those concerned about not finding all of season 1's episodes here....elf holbrook has uploaded them. Just checked the entire right column and found them all on YT. So no one has to change sites or hunt for them.
I´m a late comer to the BBC movie and HBO series, so all of you have more experience. In any event, I´m less demanding - someimes compairing an original and a remake shows the pros and cons of each. And that is always a benefit, if you have time to do it, needless to say. Thank you for downloading.
US remakes are almost never as good, let alone better than the original, esp if taken from British or French sources. (Yes, I'm American, tho I live in Europe & have loved lots on HBO, which we get for free & sans ads over here.
I couldn't find this series on any other streaming sites but there is a torrent available that contains both series 1 and 2. Video quality is okay, about the same as this first episode.
Been watching and absolutely loving The Night Of, so finally had to come check out the original. This ones pretty good, but obviously compared to The Night Of its not nearly as good. What strikes me the most is how damn fast this one moves. I feel like I'm watching a recap of last week with how quickly it moves along
@G-Rax, same here, came here after watching the series finale of Night of, had to see the original--watching it now, hope its as good as ..the Night of
You ran on the cone, but the cab is parked right in front of it. Wow, this one epsidoe cut threw to about episode three worth of plot from On the night of.
It's the Korean remake of the British TV miniseries "Criminal Justice" that brought me here. I really wonder who the killer is. Maybe not Kim Soo-hyun? I came all the way here because I was curious about who killed him in the original. By the way, This was a TV show a long time ago.
I am not a criminerd but it drives me crazy every time I see cops walking around crime scenes in their "bunny suits" with their hoods down. Is human hair no longer used as evidence? ...anyway great series. Thanks.
+ana robic di gesta watchseries.lt/episode/criminal_justice_s1_e2.html You can watch the rest of the episodes here. The gorillavid links are safe and the site as well.
Clearly?! Is it? Or are you reacting too quickly, as most of us do, to most things in life. Wanna compare? Compare properly! Write an essay, make a table, create a pie-chart ;-P. Either way, be thankful for the original's power of inspiration. Sure, some elements are more exquisite in the new one, but what is the point of a comment that flushes the whole thing down the toilet with a fast-track judgement of _'inferior'_? Here is my judgement: you did not learn much from watching any of it...
The BBC's 'gay'-of-the-moment, Ben Whishaw as Ben Coulter, playing a straight guy. But how come that kind of thing isn't 'inauthentic'? Tom Hanks recently claimed he wouldn't be allowed ( 'and rightly so', he said ) to play the role of a homosexual, as he did in Philadelphia, an Oscar winning role by the way. Why is Ben Whishaw 'allowed' to play 'straights'?
I like this but I'm more into fantastic British mystery plots. This seems more of an excuse for sex and ratings. A waste of great actors in my opinion sorry
