Welcome to my channel!! My name is Samantha but you can call me Sam! I am a third-year college student at Sam Houston State University majoring in Criminal Justice with a Legal Studies minor! I am planning on going to Law School in Texas to study Criminal Law and eventually become a Criminal Defense Attorney! I started making RU-vid video's in order to inspire and help others! I am thinking of switching my majors to criminal justice, I really want to become a criminal investigator or a crime scene investigator, how realistic do you think this goal is for the major and do you think I should switch?

I would suggest u just a bachelors in Criminal justice wont help u enough to be a crime scene investigator. For that we need further education and also several years experience. But it is a great start If you want to be a police officer.

No you don’t need a degree in criminal justice get a degree in bio/chem or maybe forensic science if the school offers it. Criminal justice is just police,courts, and corrections but if you ant to work in a crime lab departments look for a strong science background.
