The police should be given a free hand to deal with politicians and the police should not be reporting to state govt but senior IPS officers. Unfortunately, both the old law and the new laws would only be applicable only for common citizens not politicians

Judiciary has to work in time bound manner. Civil cases should be disposed off with in the year (including appeals in Higher courts) be it land forgery, divorce, property dispute. Taking 10 or 15 years to Criminal cases should be disposed off within 2 years (including appeals in Higher courts & clemency from President).

Some of the points these advocates said should be look by home minister,some of them are genuine concern.

The laws are draconian for criminals. You guys are criminals, because you care for criminals. Therefore to pass these laws the criminals have to be out of the Parliament. And that's what was done before passing this law. So I appreciate the government efforts to take stern stand on criminals. You guys can continue to protect and support criminals. After all Bharat is a free country.

Will state police now be retrained ? Will the laws be implemented at different levels and jurisdictions of courts at once? How much time and money will it cost ? Will center fully cover the cost or state needs to dig in ? What about resolved cases, existing cases and new cases? Will resolved cases be re-appealed ? Judges will not be able to refer to judgements on cases handled under previous law. A total system reset. Confusion, confusion and confusion Without the checks and balances and no one to question - who will take the responsibility, if any loopholes or inconsistencies is found ? Is there a help-desk ticketing / issue tracking system to address such issues? This being apart from the moral and justice issue being discussed. This is not transition from VAT to GST. Not that simple. When this overhaul hits the ground, to the people, it will create chaos. I bet, the thinking is "jo public demonetization jhel sakta hai, whe yeh bhi jhel lenge".
