@TheTubejunky ahah yes "the service company" does not hook up the house for you! I am licensed and insured in the state that i live in to do service work! And also always get your work inspected by an electrical inspector!
@@Electrical_RealmI'm in Pennsylvania and all areas covered by First Energy, we're no longer required to have them come connect/disconnect. They allow electricians to do that so long as it's been inspected first. We merely have to get a D&R number first by calling them. The other thong we are required to do is either use the plastic gel filled insulator covers or we have to put insulating cushion tape on our connections before using electrical tape for the final wrap. Regular electricians tape is too thin and can be damaged by hard corners points, that's why the cushion tape.
