Legendary Pictures’ Crimson Peak, a co-production with Universal Pictures, is a haunting gothic horror story directed by the master of dark fairy tales, Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, Hellboy series, Pacific Rim), written by del Toro, Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon and starring Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Hunnam.
In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.

I fell in love with Crimson Peak in the first five minutes of watching it. I'm an acting student myself, and if I ever get lucky enough to make a career out of it, I would give anything to work with Guillermo del Toro. He's one of my top 3 favourite directors.

So, what was Mia doing?.. Sitting and smiling? Questions were mostly for Tom - which is not a surprise - yet I'm upset, because Jessica is such a lovely woman, and she was barely speaking.

matt G This is a typical case of what I call 'The Ralph Fiennes Syndrome'. Young, hot, makes girls go crazy so everybody ignores the fact that he's actually a Shakespearean actor, including the Academy. Give Hiddleston, say, 10 to 15 years to prove my point. Unless you're very young and think of Ralph Fiennes as just that creepy dude who played Voldemort, in which case you have no idea what I'm talking about!!!

Alisys Thornbush Fair enough. The media is also responsible for putting any young, hunky actors on a pedestal More than actresses. Also Blame studios for only giving hot guys shirtless scenes from films whereas there's none for women from Studio films like Marvel. When there is women topless its only indie artsy, horror films.

Love them all! I feel sorry that Mia and Jessica didn't get a chance talk, in spite of my intense love for Tom! Especially Mia, I feel like she didn't enjoy being at SDCC from the pics, just being there to look pretty to support the film but having no questions to answer... :(

LightNeverFades Well, Comic Con is really the Tom Hiddelston show, so that's fine, and he's great at this type of setting. Sure Mia is there to support the film, she was probably happy to have Tom answer most of the questions. Mia's a truly amazing actress, but not that comfortable in the limelight. Jessica wanted to let the fans have their Tom time - it's Comic Con after all.

+Rachel W That's why I'm happy that Jessica answered my question as well as Guillermo and Tom. (I was the one who asked about the Thomas Sharpe rewrite.) Even though she didn't get asked anything, she at least got to answer. Of course, that's where the factor of "only four people out of a huge line got to ask their questions due to time limits" comes in.

Just saw the "Can't Leave" clip of Lucille and Thomas here..their relationship really reminds me of Brandon and Sissy's from "Shame". I get the feeling they may have been abused as children. A very mutual-survival, "we're not bad people, we just come from a bad place" sibling relationship.

OMW... did you see at the end when they all got up, Tom moved Mia's chair back so she could get up.... THAT is the most thoughtful, kind, aware, chivary act Ive seen in this modern day. No wonder Tom is so admired, praised.. There is just so much about this man that epitomizes the meaning of a gentleman. Thank you Tom Hiddleston

Love how Guillermo opens up the discussion with this movie being "female-centric" and "gender-liberating", however, all the questions are directed at Tom. Guillermo and Tom should have directed the questions back towards the women.
