Cringe MLM pitches gone WRONG 😬 (anti-mlm) 

Ha, yeah, that was the line that killed me. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Wow, it's always wild to me how the same scams get recycled over time with different branding. I'm sorry your parents got sucked into that. It happens to a lot of smart people. The closest comparison I can think of personally is that I went to this naturopath doctor in my twenties because I'd had a ton of fatigue that no other doctor could get to the root of until then. On the positive side, he did blood work that showed I had a common condition (hypothyroidism) that makes you tired. On the other hand, instead of prescribing me the pill proven by science to fix the issue, he peddled these expensive vitamins on me from a company called Life Extension that's gotten in trouble with the FDA for false advertising. I was so thankful to have a diagnosis that I ran with it for a few weeks, but eventually broke down and went to an actual endocrinologist who got me back in shape in a few weeks. Looking back down, it's frustrating to think I fell for such a shady company, but scams have a way of weaseling themselves onto people.

That one did me in, too. I hope the person pitching this MLM sincerely believed in the "opportunity" they were selling. Otherwise, it'd just be evil.
