@@laundrewashington3734 I was being sarcastic. Given how popular isekai anime is, clearly a lot of people find it a compelling idea. And given how many people loose themselves in the virtual world of gaming already... I wouldn't call this ending bittersweet, I would say predictable and expected. Hell why wouldn't you leave a world where you were a paraplegic with no romantic prospects to live in a world where you had super powers and a hot princess... seems like a no brainer to me.

Bittersweet ending indeed. Interesting anime to watch imho, although predictable, it felt like it was easy to be drawn into it.

yuu should've know that he didn't have a chance with kotona 1.kotona like haru 2.yuu bound to a wheelchair A harsh reality. Girl don't want a man In a wheelchair But in the other world yuu can stand and walk. If yuu couldn't be with kotona then he get the next better it '' the princess ''

There are 2 games, both are JRPG's have their own stories, different gameplay and this anime has its own story aswell. Games are called: Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom

Its a good anime and i know its fiction but they allways get monarchys wrong in their desire to make the male protaganist the prince and future king, their are two types of Monarchs which are Hereditary monarchs in which the Title is handed down through bloodlines so the king cant just crown a new prince and their also Elective monarchys in which case a council of powerfull people would decide the new king, the preveous king doesnt have the power to just make anyone he wants the new king like this, they overlook princesses as actual future monarchs in animes.

Technically being savior of the world probably raises the chance of being the succesor of an elective monarchy pretty much 99%. But not quite possible for heriditary monarchies most the guy gets is to become a consort to the ruler if female leadership is allowed or prehaps regency until a male heir is produced.

@@dtly50 Not nessesarily as hes still a stranger but say we go with it even if its an elective monarchy the it would need alot more than just the previous king to make that decition also they potray the princess as going to be a co ruler with him but duel monarchys are very rare and in reality partner isnt the ruler
