See if the game was tied, he would've gone for the game winner. He misses, they just go to overtime. Just like against Indiana and Toronto. But he knew he would get blamed for the loss if he missed. So he decided to pass it off to hill, this way his legacy doesn't take a hit.

The refs deserve the blame! “Officials have a trigger to use replay if they have doubt to whether the defender is inside or outside the restricted area” There was no doubt, any doubt is an attempt to cover up a foolish decision. If the ref wants to stick to that, he should be fired because he is clearly blind. Not making excuses for JR whose decision was deplorable. However, someone doesn't deserve to lose because they didn't make use of a chance they got when the game should not have come down to a chance in the first place.

Are you serious? LeBron has more 40 point performances in the finals in this last four year stint with the Cavs (all against one of the greatest teams in the history of the game in the warriors) then MJ had in his entire career in the finals. That is maby the most impressive stat I have heard in favor of LeBron. And there are a lot of crazy stats for LeBron over MJ. Jordan may have been the animal of his time but LeBron is the mind the muscle and the method of his. Props where it's due!

I stay in Cleveland and at some point we have to look at Ty Lue. He didn’t have his players ready for a MISS on a ft by Hill. I was thinking that after the FIRST FT make by Hill that Ty Lue would let the referee know IF BY ANY CHANCE WE GET A OFFENSIVE REBOUND (because people do miss ft) we would take a TIME OUT!! 2.5 - 3 Seconds off a timeout with a tie game and GW on the line. And if JR truly did not know the score that is another knock on the staff for not having the players ready for ANY situation. Great game, courageous effort by Klay😫 and those boys. Audience 72 It's funny how easily people forget how easy it is to score in the paint now compared to back then. How many uncontested dunks and layups did he get with no one dropping him on his back? Defense is water downed nowadays, just like the NFL is going all passing, the NBA is becoming an uptempo 3 point scoring league, the Euroleague is now more physical than the NBA.

They kept JR for the post season knowing his tendencies also Lebron could have took the last shot instead of G.Hill though he chose otherwise. Everyone is trying to hype up this final. The NBA told the warriors to let lebron score 50 points and then they will give them the finals. Lebron get the fame of 50 points in a final and then the warriors will beat them just like always :)
