I am so glad somebody else recognized it! I wrote the same in my review and was like "I hope someone else sees it or I will get laughed at for comparing an Indie-RPG from 2021 with an obscure animated show from 2004."
Yeah I played the demo and I was sold. I really love turn based games and this one is doing something I haven't seen any other game do so I'm all for it
@The Smitty you’re delusional. First of all, the reviews for this game are EXCELLENT. Second of all, I ONLY play games with female protagonists, and know many like minded gamers. Just because you don’t like something, doesn’t mean you have to come here and try to ruin the experience for others. Get you a life bruh

I can name countless video games with female protagonists that are some of the biggest selling and most popular game franchises of all time. Loading time and slow frog are my only issues too 😅🐸. I would still like to have a better transition when you’re entering a fight, just having the normal loading screen without the music even changing feels really weird. Despite that, I’m still having a blast like you, those are minor flaws ! Great review as always

Sorry to hear that the experimental UI can sometimes over-obscure things, but when trying to innovate such things can happen. Happy to see that the game is meeting its high expectations, way too many great games are being released this year T^T
Interesting, for me it's mostly been the worst year for games (that I'm drawn towards) in the last 10 years perhaps. Could you mention which games have been great for you this year? Maybe I've been missing some great titles! :D
@@SimpleArt93 If you want a recommendation I say check out A Rose in the Twilight. Ultra cheap when on sale, yet the gameplay is as great as its hauntingly beautiful conservative visuals
I can’t wait for my physical copy to arrive tomorrow. I’ve been stoked for this one since I first saw a trailer year(s) ago. I think it got delayed or had a bad release date on Amazon at one point… whatever the case I’m glad the review is in line with my hype!
Just saw the advertisement of this many months back and I have forgotten about it. But now since one of my friends were playing this on steam, now I’m curious. Bought it, played it, and I’m loving it.
I have the game on the switch and thosse load time ar making me take breaks with this game because it just kills the experiences to sit through a 10-20sec load screen for every battle.
Hello Noisy, how are you, what did you think of the game in history? about bosses are a challenge? Does the game have difficulty or is it the typical rpg to finish it quietly?
Very nice review! A shame its release on gamepass is at 3pm because i just finished mhs2, so i started dqbuilder 2 this morning. Crystal looks gorgeous, the lack of direction in quest is clearly a con to me but nvm, game are rarely perfect.
The developer have said that there is some post game content (I think). Also there is a "true ending", but it's difficult to have it ahah. Each decision that you will choose during a side quest, will affect the future of a NPC or a Kingdom (City). Exemple in a forest area you will see a man being attacked by a gang of wolf, you can help it or ignore it. But if you ignore it, then you will miss this side quest forever. There is a lot of replayability. 😁
Looking for reviews of this game here in Latin America is a pain because cristales meas glass in Spanish and I keep getting diy glass decorations tutorials or materials reviews. 😭
Thanks for the review! I wished the game had a mechanic to switch left and right quadrants to choose whether right is past or future. I feel like the decision of left being past and right being future is arbitrary and limiting in terms of world building/design. Otherwise excited to receive it, the demo was great.
The reason it works is for strategy. There’s late game enemies and bosses who switch sides which force you to think on the fly of how you want to set up an attack.
After first boss fight if I lose and go to load screen the game locks up and controls are disabled. So frustrating. Really wanted to give this a go. Thank goodness its game pass game.
I just played Cris Tales demo and loved everything about it except where I struggle to time my "A" button accurately to trigger the parry / deflect move against enemy units attacks. I hope @CrisTalesGame do patch an easy mode to auto-block enemy attacks, post launch of the game. I may have to wait for sale before I buy this game.
I actually got the hang of it pretty well after a while. It is different in the beginning. However there’s a satisfying vibrate when done right that feels nice
The game lacks the timing cues/indicators of a paper Mario type game. I heard it's been slightly improved in the actual game but still lacking. Bug Fables was the last paper Mario style game that pulled it off well
Game is awesome simplicity at it best. recommanded u guys play it who know it get huge upgrade if they earned enough money. this really deserve modern design later on hoping for cristale 2 if that will come to be.. only god knows haha
Well for me personally, I am looking forward to the game but not what you fellows expect. I am looking forward to it only with the story, characters, voice acting and the look.

That’s an insanely high rating….I’ve heard such horrible reviews about this game…also, if I lost an hour of gameplay it doesn’t matter how much fun I’m having I’d be gutted 🤣. Man, I’m truly at a crossroads here because this review confirmed lots of things and right now it’s kinda cheap…. But I don’t know yet hahaha
Crap I bought the game on my switch because I wanted to play it while at work. I didn't see any loading issues during the demo but hearing there is makes me a bit sad. Hopefully they will get patched out later on.
