The crisis of Capitalism today affects all countries on the world. At the same time there is no prospect of recovery is in sight. As many bourgeois strategists has been forced to admit, only the ideas of Marxism have been able to analyse and explain the situation. In this video Alan Woods explains the roots for the crisis from a Marxist perspective and the way out of the impasse.

Has this man ever written any books on his views or perhaps on his proposed government? I'd be very interested in reading them, he's a shining example of modern Socialism.

Even though it may end my career and employment future, I totally agree with Nationalizing the banks and other elements of our society. but the Capitalist should pay a price for their deeds

Accidentally thumbed you up - unfortunately (Sorry Alan Woods). What a difference it would make if the masses understood what Alan is explaining - the point of carefully explaining what is happening. The powers that will be will fight tooth and nail, but would fail flat on its face if we had a a well informed and organised workforce.

This guy is a fruit cake. capitalism has helped the world in many many ways over the years. as a result of it there are now more opportunity for people to get better lives than there have ever been in the past.

He has said that exact phrase. Something is helpful in the past, can be harmful in the present. For example, tribalism was once beneficial to our survival. Now it is detrimental. People once said what you are saying abot Fuedalism, or slavery. Please think on just that one sentence. Consider it.Really think about the priests and Lords that backed that. Capitalism has helped, but it is also responsible for millions of deaths by starvation (8 million), exposure to the elements, dehydration and preventable disease. The sharpened stick (proto-spear) was once a life saver...now its just a stick

“Crisis” of capitalism. You mean that capitalism has made the world rich in the last couple decades, lifting people out of poverty everywhere it’s implemented. This guy was an important adviser to Chavez, by the way.
