Elwyn
If I had displayed such table manners as a little kid, I would have been banished from the dinner table. I think that's one reason I love these videos. I wish I could join you, Mark.
Hello Mark and Yin! That was really very crispy! Was the Crispy Squid and fish served cold? When fried so strong you have to watch, that he was not overcooked and dry. But looked really tasty.
that snail dish reminds me on the snails i had in china and vietnam. come to malaysia, mark and try out another snail species called "balitung". that snail has a beautiful and colourful shell. it is better to dine underneath a tree especially during hot days. otherwise, we may suffer heatstroke. what kind of beach festival held there, mark?
I think Mark liked the crispy part of the food he was trying, but made a point about how greasy it was. Then again, that is what the dipping sauces are for. They help cut the oil and grease!
I search for restaurant name and for beach name and still don't found it. I have been in Ao Nang last year, and 2 years ago ind will be there next month again. CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHERE THIS PLACE IS? Thank you.😊
The audio in this video is super impressive. I could almost hear that fried shrimp scratch the roof of your mouth. I wish you posted everything you eat. Merry Christmas.
Whoa Mark be careful when under a coconut tree. Those things are known to kill if drop on your head. But looking at the tree, looks like the owner of the restaurant created some shielding for the coconuts not to drop.
Mark, that crispy seafoods you ate, you gotta be careful. Its now commons in some countries in SE the seller uses melted plastic bags or candle into the batter in order to make the foods deep frieds stay crispy even its been out for a quite long time. Next time you see foods overly crunchy and its cold cos its been out for a while, please do not take the risks with trying the foods.
as far as I know in Asian country there is a lot of street food that fried the food with a plastic, either it's plastic bag or plastic bottle that cut into pieces to keep the food crispy for dayssssss
+lyhthegreat nope..wat he mean is that.. some street vendor put plastic into hot oil.. so the plastic melt in the oil..then use the oil to fry foods..so the foods will be crispy..for dayssss...
jeffry yohanes It kind of looks like they just fried it and left it out for a long period of time. Since the batter wasn't properly sticking to the squid. And i think over time the batter would warm up and harden more..?
+jeffry yohanes I could not imagine people with the right mind did what you mention. I've never in my life seen that in Thailand. Crispiness is come from the different type of flour they use.
What does Mark do for a living? I'm in college and I'm curious in how he's able to travel around so many countries and try different foods. RU-vid can't be his ONLY source since it costs so much to travel. Sorry if this question may be a bit too personal. I don't know what to be or what to do in life yet..
