My wife was raised with a coal miner father from WV. She LOVES the idea and the couple occasions she got to go mine for gold. It's been 20 years since she has done it. I was thinking of getting her some of this paydirt stuff to give her that thrill again. I don't care what it costs ME. It's all worth it to see her smile. But I of course would want the best I could get so she can be happy when she finds the gold. I live in GA so I think I will take her here.

I just went there yesterday. Absolutely loved the experience. Got a 15 to 1 bag after we did the tour. Im panning it out a spoonful at a time and couldn't be happier with the results so far. Absolutely worth the money and time.

I recently panned some paydirt from Dan Hurd. I forgot to buy a gold pan so i just used a plate, and it WORKED!! My first time panning and i actually did it with a normal plate. Made sure to keep all the dirt to pan later in case i missed anything

Sorry to hear about the robbery, that's a shame. It's been a year or so since I've purchased any paydirt, but the Crisson 15 to 1 concentrates were one of my favorites. I probably purchased a dozen or so of those bags and was never disappointed.

I bought a "super concentrate" bag. At least that 1 is a sham. Got a few tiny pieces. The majority of the bag was silt and organics. Tons of bark chunks and leaves.

Thanks for another great video, I'd heard about the robbery a little bit ago. If they catch them they should just run them through the rock crusher. Crisson mine is great me my wife and now almost 5 year old daughter have been going for the last 5 years. My wife and daughter do the gem mining, and I do the gold panning. I have spent around 1400 over the years and have a bit more than half an ounce with 2 more of their nugget buckets still to pan out. The owners daughter Brianna is a lapidary, so my wife picks out some of the gems to have cut and set into jewelry. It really sucks that someone had to rob them. They are great people.

Melted it down would be just to make smaller pieces so you can import it with silver and then dissolve it after you melted it blended it together with the silver you can dissolve it and then we constitute it and get all the extra minerals out of it and make it pure and get twice the money for it

I was stationed at the Army Ranger camp near Dahlonega in the early 70s . Did a lot of prospecting when time permitted, Sorry to here the Crisson mine got robbed. One of those concealed carries should have taken care of business. Great video, really enjoyed. Nince gold!

Having lived in Dahlonega, for 8 years,I would never buy paydirt from the Crisson mine as they always salt the bags, in my opinion the best mine to buy from is Gold’n ‘ grubbing based in Cleveland Georgia and you get nice pickers and some beautiful gem stones to boot

@@OnlyPansMJIRL having worked at my fathers Gold Mine in Alaska and have visited many mining operations over the last 40 years, if you’re getting paydirt that comes from an actual clean up, then you should be able to find some gold, when I lived in Georgia, I purchased 4 buckets of paydirt from Gold n grubbing located in Cleveland Georgia for 250.00 per bucket and on each clean up, I averaged 10 grams per bucket, so if they were salting them, they would be out of Business real quick, this all comes from a working mine in Cleveland, Back in 1995, me and my mother did stop by Crisson mine and was lucky enough to find a 3/4 quarter ounce nugget in a 25.00 bag of paydirt, needless to say the owners came up and offered to buy on the spot, however I declined and had the nugget put on an 18k chain to which I gave to my mom on Mother’s Day

I don't live too far from them and try to buy most of my prospecting equipment from them. I have bought several bags of the 15:1 as gifts or for others to learn to pan with.... Every single bag has yielded over .75 gram of gold....my brother got one and it came close to a gram.... No joke, their product is not a rip-off compared to most of those that salt a bag of dirt with who knows what......

Shane I live in western North Carolina and this place is pretty close for me to drive to. I’m definitely gonna go and pay them a visit and contribute to the cause. Also my wife, son and I are going to Durango, silverton and pretty much that whole area next week. I’m taking my panning supplies and hopefully I can find a place where my 8 year old son jase and I can prospect for gold!!! It would so cool to get a idea from you on where he and I can go to do that. We love your channel and we definitely love the gold we find in the paydirt we purchase from you regularly!!!! Hey Jay - my best advice would be to buy the “finding gold in Colorado” book by Kevin singel it gives you all the different locations on where to pan for gold here in Colorado. There’s too many for me to list but get the book and you can have them all 👍

I think to get better results since it's crushed rock from load mine you need to crush everything to a -50 or even -100 and then use furnace o chemicals

If that’s crushed quartz, it should be a lot finer to recover the gold. Run it through a ball mill and I think you’d recover another 40%

Thats horrible!!! They need better security. Ones out in nevada were not only robbed but murdered. A husband and wife, the owners, were both fatally shot. Jeff williams announced it about a year ago i think it was. He said they were the nicest ppl an would do anything for you he said. Jeff was heartbroken. Whats wrong with people today?? Very sad....

I panned it out and ended up with .80 grams, more than happy to support them. btw, my scale only reads in tenth of a gram, had to be over that.

@Klesh #Klesh Purchased 30 gal concentrate bag for $110 and it was like playground sand. A lot of very flat pieces that looked like potential gold but they were not. Feeling ripped off at this point
