@@beatdrop4384 Ronaldo was said to be selfish in his early footballing days at Sporting Lisbon. ( I think it was SL but definitely during that time ). Not much has changed though. He sometimes gets mad when even his teammate scores and not him.
@@portgasempire7867 I want to disagree but sadly there is some truth in that. During Ronaldo's Madrid days he was selfish but he also cared about his teammates enough to sacrifice a decent amount of goals but at ManU and Juve he was very selfish in my eyes. But selfishness is important too.

It upset him because his father was very nice man but a drunkard and he really supported ronaldo dreams but they were very poor and every was struggling individually as well. And in all the chaos he never got to speak nicely with his dad or bind with him. From the quick couple words I heard, I gathered that he wanted to prove his dad wrong. He wanted to change the narrative (he thought) his dad had in his head of him. He wanted to show him what he could do, yet his father never had the chance to “see” it type of thing. I could be reading way into it. I just think of my own dad who’s almost 70 and the only time I heard him speak Anything of emotion was the night his dad died…he said that was the first time he ever said I love you…now in my 30’s, it makes sense why he wanted to do things his dad never did with him and make those his passions. He wanted deep down to hear that someone was proud of him that he admired (despite the flaws/abuse etc). Maybe I’m not making sense, but that’s a reason why I get that feeling based on Mr. Ronaldo’s verbal and non verbal cues.
