Boxing is still pretty niche to the mainstream. My mum couldn’t pick Usyk out of lineup (because we are British would know AJ) but everyone on earth pretty much knows Ronaldo. Opening up and throwing the uppercut and lead punches is what almost ended his night. When he wasn't aggressive he just got walked into a corner. When he got aggressive he got hit with hard counters. It was going to be rough night for him no matter what he did.

How lucky are we to have seen such a war. Usyk deserved that victory and Tyson should be proud of himself too. A beautiful fight that makes me proud to be a boxing fan in all of the bullshit that has recently disgraced the sport. Beautiful from both competitors, but Usyk is something special. I always support British fighters 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 but Usyk won my heart ❤️

geez ....i don't remember AJ getting battered around the ring like Fury did in the ninth....Aj was never like that hurt by Usyk...... on the other hand Fury had Usyk in trouble for a few rounds 4-5-6 ....never seen Usyk that troubled but then Usyk took over the fight after the 7th ...great fight

Lol no chance. Fury was literally battered from pillar to post in the ninth, a walking zombie out on his feet. AJ never got hurt like that, even when he nearly got stopped at the end of the 12th in the first fight. Fury was actually stopped, but ref saved him

In some ways fury did a bit better but styles make fights and fury is more elusive, awkward, bit bigger and longer reach etc. But in other ways he did worse, got far more hurt and should have been KO'd. That was also not a confident AJ like he is now and with a better trainer. Still not sure he'd win but could probably better his last performance and whoknows.

How can people say it was a dominating win? Fury was winning that round he got rocked in, if he had been careful those last 30 seconds he would have won the fight. But usyks a monster. It was a close fight.
