But then after 1 bad season people forget who you are and what you did in your career. It has to be so exhausting for ronaldo, being told for past 3 years that he's finished and useless after all that he has done. When Ronaldo was called for the first team still a teenager we all immediately knew. Back then we was a winger and whenever he got time play the stadium would absolutely lose it. He feared nothing, he was not like Figo or Sabrosa or any other player from Sporting's academy debuting in the first league. No fear, face opponents straight forward one on one. One after the other, crossing, shooting. His goal against Leiria with just 17 years old is an absolute hymn to football. Haters think Ronaldo got it all from hard work but his talent was immense he just decided to put all the hard work he could on top of that talent and he evolved from a killer winger into a scoring beast because that's what all the greats do, goals. If I could be a great footballer I would want to be like Van Basten, Pele, Voller, Klinsmann, Ronaldo R9, Ibrahimovic, the GOAT Ronaldo.
